Hey guys.

This is a departure from my normal content, and something of an experiment for me. I wanted to go beyond the scope of traditional format and editing to create something new, unique and different. Something that will distinguish itself from the crowd, as this is more than "just a PMV."

This is a time capsule.

What you're seeing here is a collective of pony from the fandom's formative years back in 2011-2012. Of course, given duration and YouTube content constraints, I wasn't able to include everything from the era. Furthermore, I avoided using any fan-created content (beyond highly-circulated memes) to avoid stepping on the toes of fellow creators.

What you'll see is a plethora of clips, references and other such media which was heavily-circulated and parodied throughout the golden years of this wonderful community.

This video is intended to allow those who have been here from the start to be reminded of what this show and community used to be. Many of us have since moved on, either through a lost interest in the show or its community, or due to life getting in the way. Some of us have gone on to college, some of us have enlisted in the military, some have found themselves swamped by a full-time job, and others simply drifted away.

No matter the reason, we eventually drift away from things, and their curtain is drawn; that chapter is closed. We may move on, we may regret and we may never look back.

But let us hope we never forget.
