An unclear amount of time has passed since Twilight Sparkle became a princess. Her friends have since passed away, and Twilight is left largely by herself. Loneliness gradually begins to consume her mind, and she is eventually forced to make a decision: to stay a princess, or to trap herself in her memories indefinitely.
Hey guys!
This was a rather large undertaking. An ambitious, large-scale video project which will span several videos, all detailing the ominous "EVENT." As of this time, it is unclear what "THE EVENT" is, but bits and pieces will slowly come together over time and reveal a much larger picture.
This video was the BronyCon PMV Contest 2018 Best in Show.
Below, you'll find all of the materials used to create this project, including the project summary, story outline, original schedule, storyboards (courteously drawn by Casey C) and raw video files and project files. I wanted to publish these as a tool to outline my creative process, and for other creators to potentially find inspiration. The project files will NOT come with vectors or green screen files not created by myself or anyone else directly involved with this project.

As I said above, this was a rather large, ambitious undertaking, and I am satisfied with the result. Much like Plight of Immortality, I look forward to expanding on this fanon universe and its many twists and turns along the way, as we gain a greater understanding of THE EVENT.
►FUN FACTS◄
• The keyboard sound effects were recorded on a genuine IBM Model M keyboard, which was the source of inspiration for the video's design aesthetic. Every keystroke seen in the video was hand-keyframed to match the provided audio file.
• With a runtime of 5:20, this is my third-longest PMV released to date.
• The startup screen and accompanying boot logs were based heavily on real Linux boot logs. CentOS was used as a base for recreating a Linux-based bootup sequence.
• There are dozens of Easter eggs scattered all throughout this video. Some buried deep, some hidden in plain sight. Can you find them all?
• The monitor used for the terminal is taken directly from the Equestria Girls movie.
• All of the commands written by Twilight, the formatting of data and other small details are all authentic, and would all actually work in a real CentOS (and others) environment.
The song is "Years of War" by Porter Robinson.
