ATMOSPHERA /+Lady of Shalott 1977///+Atmosphera is probably the most memorable band in the small Israeli progressive scene.
Born in 1975, the band was formed by the interest of some young and talented musicians in producing something of the caliber of bands such as Yes, Genesis and King Crimson, since progressive rock was still pulsating in the mid-1970s in Israel. Despite gaining recognition for their spectacular shows, Atmosphera was dedued to produce their first and only album, which was released prematurely under pressure from the label. It is noted that half of the album was professionally produced in the studio, while the other half is a home recording of a rehearsal made by one of the band members. Despite the difficulties, Atmosphera managed to produce an album of very fine musical quality and that deserves to be appreciated by all progressive fans.ENGLISH: Atmosphera is probably the most memorable band from the small and short-lived Israeli progressive scene.Formed in 1975 by the interest of some gifted young musicians in producing something in the likes of acts such as Yes, Genesis or King Crimson, once that progressive rock was having its golden days in Israel in the mid 1970s. We can realise that half of the album was professionally produced in studio, whereas the other half was made of some home sessions recordings made by one of the band's members.
