Burnout Paradise 5 years ago... Worked, because Criterion has been producing burnout for 10 years. As soon as Criterion parts form EA... Burnout Paradise clones everywhere.

Criterion wanted to make Burnout Paradise 2. EA didn't let them do it because EA thought they wouldn't make money of a new burnout paradise. So Criterion made Paradise 2 with licensed Cars. I personnaly liked MW 2012 because MP was fun, cool Cars and also hard Police chases. EA thought they don't have "enough" developers for MW while they still had BlackBox on Board. It's actually EA's fault.

Frostbite is garbage. They should have used Criterion's engine, Chameleon, or even RenderWare. Those are properly optimized engines.
Then again they should have let Criterion be in charge of NFS. Despite the Most Wanted 2012 screw-up I think that given more time they would have returned the series to it's roots and driven the Underground and Battlefield idiots away. They were on the right track with Hot Pursuit 2010.
I'd like to say that it's mostly your type of people that ruined payback I mean it was a trainwreck to begin with but still you were annoyed because of the police and now you don't have anything they removed police except for some races that are boring at least for me because they are so scripted you could have the fastest car in the game and police would just catch up to you

I tried doing an interceptor event and the Porsche kept pulling a 180 every time I got close and I said "If he does that one more time I'm throwing the case across the room." The case can't close properly now. That game is fucking awful.
