You mentioned shooting for a Beach Boys sound, but I'm reminded more of '70s artists like Alan Parsons and Al Stewart, especially in the lyrics. I'm not going to lie Replacer, I loved this so much at Toastbeard, in fact, seeing your name on th list of entries made me really, really nervous (because I knew you, like me, were a bit overdue for new track, and it would therefore be awesome). Even now, I hesitate asking EqD to consider my new song knowing that yours will be heading their way at the same time. Your production is just so wonderful, and your songwriting so refreshing and inspired. I can't help but feel trite in comparison.

Your music is a strange mix, light melodies, with fairly strong lighthearted beats. They don't mix super well, but you pull it off all the same. And you voice...its...fucking...awesome!

For some reason this is the greatest song ever. But around the 100th time I listened to is, I noticed something. On the downloaded version, if you have good headphones (I have studio ones), at around 0:55, during the "Hmmm hmmm hmmm", I can very distinctly hear someone turning from the mic and yelling "F-CK!". I hope I'm mistaken. Maybe it was shuffling papers.
