yeah windows 95 and windows 98 has dos mode as well I tried bringing back dos mode in windows millennium edition but windows millennium edition was way too buggy and trying go for digital age.

Technically this BSOD is in DOS, but it was triggered in the DOS part of Windows 95.
The only thing I have against this video is the shitty camera focus.

It's in the windows loading stage. So not entirely DOS mode but in the booting mode, most likely protected mode. Either the real mode or protected mode part of VFAT.VXD returned a fatal error.

I found a insert disk error when installing MS-DOS 4.00 (1988) through the Select program, it looked a lot like a blue screen, I have a screenshot

You are attempting to load Windows by executing Win.com without the required vfat drivers loaded, there error isn't from DOS it's from Windows.

@@HarryBlueJay Yeah, but that doesn't really matter. MS-DOS by itself doesn't have a BSOD, it's the underlying Windows that's showing it. I mean, you wouldn't get a BSOD on pure MS-DOS.
