I completely agree. The post-apocalyptic color scheme and nuclear bunker made much more sense in the lore of Teletubbies. I have no idea why they changed it. I guess the subtle message against nuclear warfare was too inappropriate for children. So they just made it bright green and a hobbit hole instead of a nuclear bunker. Seriously, this reboot completely spits on the original! >:(

This is an extremely realistic depiction of useless rants. Your satirical skills amaze me, I knew something like this was coming when I saw it on twitter.

Okay you made some valid points but I really think the writing has improved on this one. Didn't you see the episode where that red one was sad, and then night came. This was obviously symbolism for depression. The night was symbolizing the dark thoughts blocking out any bright ones. It's really innovative and impressive for the show to go that far, and it was so deep.

My favorite parts are how you keep cycling between the art style, the windmill and nitpicking the smallest of details. Never mind bigger, important things like the stories, characters and execution of said things,what little of that there is in the Teletubbies, nooooooooo, we have to focus on these very tiny, insignificant details and repeat for emphasis!

This show is even worse than Teen Titans Go!, The Powerpuff Girls (2016) and Ben 10 (2016) combined.

My only objection with this critique is that the original was a pinwheel , it's the bastards who made the reboot who turned the show's focal point into a windmill. Pinwheels are made for enjoyment; Windmills are an industrial era construct symbolizing the pain of past laborers!

Woah I never thought I would come across an anime reviewer with such astute tastes as myself, this is with out a doubt the most accurate thing I have ever heard another human say. Normies who just picked up the show and have never seen the original will never understand this, its not just a visual masterpiece but its also an emotional masterpiece. Toshio Maeda was incorrectly credited with popularizing the use of tentacles in anime. The teletubbies were the first to popularize the genre with the vacuum cleaner "Noo Noo" only the most hardcore and true anime fans know this and it disgusts me that there are people who disagree with this fact.

I remember having a kid like this at my school named Thomas who sounded like Chris Chan and loved Thomas The Tank Engine along with other shows. I totally agree with you dude. This show used to be one of the greatest shows, and now it's just a mockery of what it once was.

From how it looks, the Teletubbies reboot looks like it has improved a great deal. I like it's more bright, colorful, and vibrant art styles, not to mention, focusing on things like kids with disabilities so young kids can get a early concept and understanding of disabilities. If anything, I only have a problem with the sun design.

I wouldn't say that my autism is an obstacle at all. I am very proud to be autistic.

Sure, I might have some sensory processing problems that make things sometimes a bit too much to, well, process, but I enjoy stimming and the excitement I get from the things I’m interested in. I feel like being autistic makes me more self-reliant in a way because non-autistic people seem to be so concerned with things that just don’t bother me. I don’t get bored in the same way they do. I’m excited and passionate about the things I love in a way that non-autistic people just don’t seem to have as much. And sure, I may get frustrated or anxious when routines change but, it’s not all that bad. And overall, I’m quite happy to think and see the world in the way that I do.

The only thing that’s an obstacle is the fact that non-autistic people seem to see the world so rigid. Ironically, autistic people are seen as the “rigid” ones, when really, I think it’s non-autistic people that are far more rigid and sensitive. I’m very frustrated by the fact that this society is so obsessed with eye contact (other societies are not), so obsessed with unnecessary trivial niceties that I’m considered extremely rude if I don’t incorporate them into my everyday speech. The most frustrating part about being autistic isn’t being autistic - it’s having to deal with this society’s unwillingness to accept different means of interacting.

Still, I would not trade being autistic for anything in the world.

Tinky Winky doesn’t sound as unique as he used to. He’s more hyper than he was in the original.

Dipsy also lost his unique rasp in his voice.

Laa Laa sounds pretty much the same, but slightly lower pitched than the original.

Po’s voice is too high pitched than it was.

They of course got a new Sun Baby (because the original is in her 20s now), but the art style did downgrade.

Noo Noo is orange instead of blue (he looks better in the original)
