Don't burn yourself out, touring is already exhausting enough! Even a video like this once a week or every week and a half or two weeks would be amazing. Thank you for even filming your experiences at all, you make me feel like we're all there with you even if we can't make it to a show. ❤️

im so blessed to have seen you in brooklyn last night! as soon as you walked on stage, i literally bursted into tears (happy tears) simply over the fact that you were there! just to see your gorgeous self in person and present your show with quirkiness and creativity. i've been watching your videos for a long time, and looking up to you, and relating to you, so to see you in person made me feel..complete? idk if thats the word. i felt content and satisfied because you're a wonderful person and everything you say and write about makes me feel less alone and more okay with myself. you've brought out a lot of the creativity in me and i was finally able to go to therapy because of you as well! i found words from watching your content that explained how i was feeling, the way that i wanted to, but for some reason never could. this is very extensive but i love you so much, please dont ever stop creating!

I have absolutely loved these so far!! Especially being at the Brooklyn show last night, seeing your reaction to the paper rainbow and what you were up to throughout the day was awesome! I think everyone who comes to this tour would love to have the same experience and I would love to see how the rest of tour goes!! But please don’t do the videos at the detriment of having fun on tour or your mental/physical/emotional health. Maybe film and collect what you want to use every day but only edit and post every other day or only post if you have a day off in between? Or maybe just a smaller video with less editing involved each day? 💛

Interesting, for me with derealization sunglasses actually help because a lot of times my dissociation is triggered by bright sunlight, so wearing sunglasses tones it down!

I can definitely see how wearing glasses can make derealisation worse, they look like borders on your vision like the edges of a screen so it's so much easier to seperate yourself from what you see within them. That show looked incredible, hope you're having a lovely day!

PS: that looks like a super painful place to have a spot :( have you tried pimple patches? you stick them on the spot for 8-12 hours and they suck the nastiness out and treat the skin so it heals better. cosrx makes really good ones. i find that they calm my spots down pretty much overnight. hope this helps!!

I was at this show!! Someone had a ziploc bag of the pieces of paper and we all just passed it back in the line with "Take one, pass it back". The show was so fun and it was even better than you had such a musical audience. It was so cool to have everyone singing all the difference voice parts in a lot of your songs :D

i find it so interesting that taking your glasses off helps with your derealization. i've found that it depends on the moment for me - more often than not it helps but sometimes i'll take them off and it's like w o a h, has my brain has been playing major tricks with my vision??? all day???

These videos bring back a sense of connection with the audience that I hadn't felt in a year or two.
Keep workshopping the format so you get down time also, and perhaps limit yourself to 3 hours editing in the morning after breakfast. You could even focus on filming 5 snippets per day and then discuss your daily reviews based on that.

Hi dodie!! I was at your Brooklyn show and it was awesome!! I just wanted to give some feedback if you read these, I’m not sure if there was some emergency backstage or something, but there was a really weird like 30-40 minute wait after Tessa got offstage waiting for you and it was really odd and a very very long time to be standing on the hard floor after already standing in line for an hour and then standing from 8-9 waiting for Tessa. It did put a bit of a damper on the evening (and the otherwise amazing show!!) because by the time the show was over we’d been standing for so long our backs and knees really hurt :( anyway maybe for ur next ones get rid of the gap between Tessa and you if you can? ESP cuz she was tryna hype us up and then left us alone for so long! Anyway I loved the show and “human”made me cry, I hope you release a produced version like that someday. wish you had played more songs! and talked a bit more in between! I could listen to you forever. Hope the rest of the tour is amazing! x

I also experience a higher intensity feeling of derealization/depersonalisation when I wear my prescription glasses. It's so frustrating, because I need them to cycle or watch movies in. Plus movies especially make me feel extra spaced out anyway 😅😅😅 I feel your pain!

i get the glasses thing; i dont have depersonalisation/derealisation but i do find that wearing glasses makes me feel...... weird. its like theres a barrier between me and the real world, like that bit of glass/plastic separates me and everyone else, and even myself from my body a bit. i feel distant when i wear glasses.

They’re actually little daisies and the whole project is run by an insta account called @daisiesfordodie. A ton of people (including myself heh) signed up to buy paper, print, and cut out hundreds of lil daisies for people to hold up during she. For some shows they are yellow, for some they are pride flag colors, and for some they are bi pride flag colors. It’s truly amazing I agree! Anyways, I’m seeing you in Philadelphia tomorrow and I can honestly say I think it’ll be the best day of my life. Thank you so much for existing and going on this lovely tour for us american fans who love you so much. really lateee to the partay bc like life n all that jazz but yesss i feel you with the spaced out glasses thing! i think it's partly bc i'm short sighted so if i take my glasses off i know everything /will/ look blurry so it's easier to pretend you're not spaced out and just pretend it's just your glasses.
