Tempest Shadow S2S

I admire Tempest Shadow very much because she has a deep sensitive inner self. On the outside she is different, mean, but If you get to know her, you understand that it's just a shield for her to survive. It also surprises her when she looks back on herself now.

And the song and lyrics by StableTwoStallion tells this story so well, full of deep emotions.
If you lived a life like her in your passed, you will understand her ponyality so well, and that the only way out is to accept a friendly helping hoof. Because nothing is so strong as true friendship. Well, let's just say it's magic!

I really like the original mixing and it's very very good, no doubt.
But I couldn't get my hooves away from just playing with it, just for the pure fun of it.
I'm more the producer pony/donkey than a good musician, my big ass ears just urged to me to mess with the mix.

This is mainly what I have done:

-Drums, a bit of deqantization to get a more untight "live played" feeling of it. EQs to get the snare and the highs a bit different. Slight compressing to get more of the toms higher up in the mix.

-Added a very sloppy/messy J-bass, low volume on top of guitars.

-Guitars, 3-tracks with heavy L,R and one mid pan. Altered slightly in pitch, time and different EQs/amp on each to get the feeling of a wide wall.

-Synth/keyboard track, nearly untouched, just some very slight high freq. reverb tail added.

-Added a low synth sequence. (not 100% happy with it after all, but well, ok, just leave it there..)

-Vocals, doubled up the track in appropriate places with lowered pitch and a slight time change to fatten up. And some places with different EQs to get a wider feeling.
