"Berry Punch Drunk" Remix Contest & Update!

Happy "Day after 4th of July" or as the NON U.S. world calls it... 'July 5th'.

Believe it or not it's been a DISTURBING 5 months since last I put something on my channel. I have a horrible knack of NOT releasing music on months that I do performances and so 2 of those 5 months were JUST that.

At the end of this month, i'll be crashing BronyCon 2014 AGAIN, so... I'm hoping to 'buck the trend' with this Release/Contest.

What is it? I worked with a friend of mine, Sooshie Shef over 2 years ago with an idea to release a 'Berry Punch'-centric track. But back then I didn't have the same recording setup as I do now, and he eventually wandered off to do important things like focus on school. Now that I've found the track, I decided not ONLY to release it, but I thought it would be in good fun to create a contest out of it.

The contest goes out to all Music Producers/DJ's/People that Make za Musicks for the fun of it. The challenge? Put together a 'Dirty South' instrumental remix of this 'Berry Punch Drunk' track. Rules are as follows:

1. Dirty South Style Beat
2. Must use my 'Berry Punch Drunk' A Capella

4. Send it in at a 256kpbs quality or higher, but no 'WAV' files please!
5. Have it in my mailbox no later than 11:59pm on August 30th 2014.

The winner will be announced VIA Twitter @RhymeFlow1 on September something 2014

The track will be selected with the assistance of myself and a handful of judges who I think will help me make the best decision.

The winner will work with me to put together a 'Final Contest Winner' release of 'Berry Punch Drunk' which includes new recorded vocals, a possible fan VA of Berry Punch doing the chorus, a shiny Lyric Video with jazzy audio/visual effects, shameless promotion of the track on all my Social Media outlets, an opportunity to have a Priority Collaboration with yours truly (oh yeah, big whoop), and if you're AT BronyCon 2014 this year, I will personally buy you a beverage. (Alcoholic if you're of legal age, and non... if you're... not.)
