Swegas je bio britanski progresivni limeni rock sastav koji je postojao između 1969. i 1971. godine. Ime benda potječe od anglosaksonske riječi za glazbu. Signed to B&C Records, they recorded their debut self-titled album at Advision Studios in London. However, the release of the album did not happen. The group began rehearsing the new material in a London emergency room. They then went on a three-month tour of Europe, starting in Oslo on May 20, 1970. Returning from the tour, the musicians recorded the album "Child Of Light" at "Tangerine Studios", located in Dalston (East London). Swegas était un groupe de rock progressif britannique qui a existé entre 1969 et 1971. Le nom du groupe vient du mot anglo-saxon pour musique. La formation originale de swegas était composée de Joe Spibey (trompette), Nick Ronai (trombone), Alan Smith (sax ténor), Jonny Toogood (guitare) et quelques joueurs de pick-up.
