Doista, to je bilo prilično brzo (6 dana sredinom svibnja u Studiju Davout), jer su ga imali vremena pripremiti, a gdje su čak i svirali vlastite brojeve na zvučnim provjerama pjevačevih turneja. Standardni prog kvartet razvio je izvrstan jazz-rock koji je bio suparnik klasičnom Mahavishnu orkestru, gdje je pisanje pjesama bilo prilično ravnomjerno raspoređeno između četiri uspješna glazbenika, iako ih ne bih nazvao iskusnim veteranima. Na španjolskoj ljestvici mogli biste ih smjestiti između prva dva Fusioonova albuma i Icebergovog jazzerskog opusa poput Cosesa Nosnice.Umjetničko djelo moglo bi vas potaknuti da mislite da je grupa vrlo udaraljkaška, ali zvuk je vrlo uravnotežen. 14 relativno kratkih pjesama (max 3'40") koje se miješaju u jedan divovski broj. Na neki način, pogađate da su pjesme koje je napisao bubnjar Bouvier ritmičnije, ali onda kad se pretvore u bassističke Pjesme koje je napisao Guselli, ne moraju nužno postati funky. A kad je to slučaj, najbolje je početi kronološki.LADISLAV&Z……….During one of the timeouts in Yves Simon's schedule, his backing band benefited from their free time to record their first album. Indeed, this was quite quick (6 days in mid-May at Davout Studios), because they had time to prepare it, and where they even played their own numbers on the sound checks of the singer's tours. The standard prog quartet developed an excellent jazz-rock that rivaled the classical Mahavishna Orchestra, where songwriting was quite evenly distributed between four successful musicians, although I would not call them experienced veterans. In the Spanish charts, you could place them between fusioon's first two albums and Iceberg's jazzy oeuvre like Coses Nostril.A work of art might make you think the group is very percussive, but the sound is very balanced. 14 relatively short poems (max 3'40") that mix into one giant number. In a way, you guess the songs written by drummer Bouvier are more rhythmic, but then when they turn into bassistic songs written by Guselli, they don't necessarily get funky. As short songs continue to accelerate, the listener is never bored, because all of them (songs) are very different and never repeated. Their jazz-rock is still quite academic, but complex, melodious and subtle finesse. An excellent but short debut album that didn't go unnoticed on the French jazz scene, Priglacit (no idea what the title means) is probably transit express's best introduction to music, but you can't go wrong by choosing any of their three oeuvres.
