Goku VS Saitama(One Punch Man)
Son Goku (Japanese: 孫 悟空 Hepburn: Son Gokū?) is a fictional character and the main protagonist of the Dragon Ballmanga series created by Akira Toriyama. He is based on Sun Wukong, a main character in the classic Chinese novelJourney to the West. Goku is introduced in chapter #1 Bulma and Son Goku (ブルマと孫悟空 Buruma to Son Gokū?), originally published in Japan's Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine on December 3, 1984,[1] as an eccentric, monkey-tailed boy who practices martial arts and possesses superhuman strength. He meets Bulma and joins her on a journey to find the wish-granting Dragon Balls.
Initially believed to be an Earthling, he is later revealed to be a member of an extraterrestrial warrior race called the Saiyans with the birth name Kakarrot (カカロット Kakarotto?). As Goku matures, he becomes the universe's mightiest warrior and protects his adopted home planet, Earth, from villains who wish to harm it. Goku is depicted as carefree and cheerful when at ease, but quickly serious and strategic-minded when fighting. He is able to concentrate his ki and use it for devastatingly powerful energy-based attacks, the most prominent being his signature Kamehameha (かめはめ波, lit. "Turtle Destruction Wave") wave, in which Goku launches a blue energy blast from his palms. Also pure of heart, Goku cannot be harmed by evil waves like the Devil Beam, and he is one of the few who can ride the magic cloud called Kinto'un(筋斗雲, lit. "Somersault Cloud", renamed "Nimbus" in Funimation's dub)
One-Punch Man (Japanese: ワンパンマン Hepburn: Wanpanman?) is an ongoing Japanese webcomic created by an author using the pseudonym One, which began publication in early 2009.[3] The series quickly went viral, surpassing 7.9 million hits in June 2012.[4] The Japanese shortened name Wanpanman is a play on the long-running children's characterAnpanman (the form pan (パン?) is not a standard abbreviation for punch (パンチ panchi?)).[5]
A digital manga remake of the series, illustrated by Yusuke Murata, began publication on Shueisha's Young Jump Web Comics website in 2012.[3] Viz Media has licensed the remake for English serialization in its Weekly Shonen Jump digital magazine.[6] A television anime adaptation by Madhouse aired in Japan between October and December 2015
The story takes place in the fictional Japanese metropolis of City Z. The world is full of strange monsters that mysteriously appear and cause disasters. Saitama, the protagonist, is the strongest hero, who easily defeats the monsters or other villains with a single punch. However, due to his overwhelming strength, Saitama has become bored with his powers and is constantly trying to find stronger opponents who can present a challenge to him.
On his adventures, he meets new friends, enemies, and his own disciple, the cyborg Genos, and then joins the Heroes Association in order to gain official recognition as a hero. Despite defeating many strong monsters that even the Heroes Association’s top members are unable to defeat, Saitama struggles to gain respect. Most people look down on him due to his plain physical appearance, and some accuse him of being a counterfeit hero. Only a small number of individuals recognize his incredible talent and humility towards others.
