Amidst the current situation between Russia and Ukraine, many public figures are being asked to voice their opinion on what's going on and if they approve the "special military operation". Some people's comments, or lack thereof due to the fear, get people canceled. One good example is Nurlan Saburov - a Kazakhstan born stand up comedian and one of the most popular stand up acts in Russia. Nurlan went on a comedy tour around the United States in March 2022, and the audience repeatedly called him out and asked him to denounce the events in Ukraine.
