We have an update for you guys about the Jeffy Puppet. We, and the team behind the Jeffy puppet and our store, have been working so hard over the past couple months trying to stick to our May ship-out date for the Jeffy puppet. After a ton of work and effort, we thought we were going to be able to hit it, but in the past month we hit a small hurdle in our build process. We could have continued to rush things to get Jeffy out by May, but then Jeffy wouldn’t look and feel and BE the same Jeffy that we have here with us. To us, it is SUPER important to get Jeffy perfectly right, because we want to launch and ship an outstanding puppet for all of you guys to have and play with and love.
As a result of this hurdle, we unfortunately have to push the ship-out date for Jeffy, one final time, to the end of July. We feel really bad about this, and it was a very hard decision for us to make, but we think it is the right one. We wanted to understand ALL of the steps of the process that were left to accomplish, as well as how long it would take to complete all of them, before recording this video and letting you guys know the update. On the bright side, we and the rest of the team behind smlmerch.com are 100% confident in the rest of the process, because we’ve already figured out the hardest parts of making Jeffy, like his eyes, helmet, and shoes. The rest is the easy part, so we’re 100% confident we’ll be able to get Jeffy out to you guys by the end of July.
As an apology for pushing back the ship-out date one last time, and as a thank you for being patient with us and for being such awesome fans, we’ve gone ahead and automatically applied a discount to ALL people who have ordered a Jeffy puppet to date. You’ll see a refund show up on your credit card statements / Paypal within the next 24-48 hours.
We understand how long the wait has been for this, so in addition to the discount, if you’d like to, we’d be happy to cancel your order and provide you with a full refund on your order of Jeffy. Please email our store customer service team and they’d be happy to take care of your request.
When we first launched the Jeffy puppet, we knew it was going to be a long process filled with obstacles and hurdles that we’d have to get over. We just hit some of these obstacles over the past month, but we’re on the home stretch of getting the Jeffy puppet out to you guys. AND, we’re already working on the next series of puppets that we’ll be launching after the Jeffy puppet is in your hands, like Cody, Joseph, and Junior, which we’re really excited about.
Thanks again for your patience guys. We really appreciate it, and we’re again sorry for pushing things back again. We’ll keep you guys updated on how things go between now and July, so that you know exactly what is happening throughout the process.
