My try to get on the Ponies At Dawn album Oceansong this spring of 2021.

Second try one year after, and no luck this time either. But I have promised to release the finished song whatever happens.

Btw. The song is (was) about a journey in different parts, for a expedition into the abandoned Hipogriff Kingdom. It starts like in the picture, at the entrance of the valley. The sharp sounds in the beginning repres.... well who cares anyway?

Here is the motivation of the rejection:

Thank you so much for submitting music to our Oceansong album! However, your track didn't make it onto the album, and we have some feedback from the judging process for you.

'Very sharp sounds in the intro, kinda uncomfortable to listen to. Pads are kinda big and bland without much depth to them. The drum rhythms and stuff are cool, but need to be mixed a little more smoothly. Vocal samples feel very random compared to the feel of the rest of the track. Would focus on making sure all the sounds in your track work together a bit better, and that the structure is a little more compelling alongside more depth to the sound design

snare feels like it should be yuuuuge but just doesn't do much for me. It feels like this song wants to be like three different things, with techno sounds and full time sections, and a dubstep snare and random wobble basses. Also idk if I really dig the big choir sound later on in the track'

I don't need to read between the lines to tell that every single part or sound sucked big time in a bad mix, in a undefined style of the bad song. But I'm a donkey so IDK.
