Far Meadow Founded in London, UK in 2011.

FAR MEADOW was founded as a five-piece rock combination in London by Eliot MINN (keyboards), Paul BRINGLOE (drums), Paul MALLATRATT (bass), Jon BARRY (guitars) and NOK (voices)

The band grew out of the remains of Blind Panic, which featured Paul BRINGLOE (drums) and Eliot MINN (keyboards), Jon BARRY (Gtr), who later played with BIG BIG TRAIN, Paul MALLATRATT (bass) plus NOK on vocals. Under this name, the band did not release any music and soon after the name changed to DALEKA LIVADA. They released their first album titled "Where Joys Abound" in 2012, shortly after, NOK, Jon BARRY and Paul MALLATRATT left the band, to be replaced by Keith BUCKMAN (bass), Dennin WARREN (guitar) and vocalist Marguerita ALEXANDROU. In this new lineup, FAR MEADOW released "Given The Impossible" in 2016 and "Foreign Land" in 2019.

The band played under the influence of classical rock and prog innovators (YES, GENESIS, RUSH, FOCUS, SOFT MACHINE, DEEP PURPLE, KING CRIMSON, GENTLE GIANT, PLACKBAND, etc.) to contemporary torchbearers who keep music alive (SPOCK'S BEARD, FLOWER KINGS, RPWL, ROCKET SCIENTISTS, DREAM THEATER and many others), along with an extra dash of funk, soul, classics, jazz, twist blues and extreme splodge of general chase and madness.

Although all other FAR MEADOW members have previously had experience playing in bands, and it's clear when you listen to them play each band member really knows their instrument, for Marguerita to lead the band was a whole new experience. "I didn't really start singing until I was 32, and I'd never sung in a band before. I made my stage debut with The Far Meadow at the Resonance Festival in 2016 and I was very nervous, but the band helped me get through it."
