Synthwave theme for Daring Doo

A retro theme for the equestrian explorer.

Realtime played on vintage synths and multitracked using a Fostex A8 reel to reel tape recorder, Roland TR707 for drums, Crumar BIT99 bass and backings, Roland Juno2 lead, Roland DEP5 for all effects. Mixed on an antique Tascam M-1600 Analog Mixing Desk.

The tape is +30y old so... not in the best shape as can be heard.

From now on, lets throw these old artifacts back in the cave again.
Really serious, we have better and easier things to make music with today.
But for a Daring Doo theme these old things are just fun to mess with, and it goes well with the idea of "copy" Indiana Jones from the 80s, or does it?

And I'm sorry that i had to remove the last song "That particular Night".
My mixing and producing companion Flash had sold the rights to that song without my knowledge. So after some discussions I decided to take it down from YouTube. But it can still be found on pony.fm.





After this unpredictable happening I think I will run my music solo in the future, ok of course I will have guest musicians and do remixes. But I will do the "work" myself and 100% own my music.


This feels a bit sad, because we put so much hard work in that song for weeks with guest player ms Northern Unicorn involved, and now I can't give it to the fandom the way I want to.


ms Northern Unicorn will be back on cello in the future, we will start a new project in some weeks has she promised me.
