La Follia for Princess Mi Amore Cadenza
Description YT
A Dandelion transcription of Corelli, La Follia.
Cadence is a musical term of Italian origin meaning a musical progression or configuration that concludes a phrase, or more generally, a rhythm. The term may also refer to the rhythm made by a horse's gait.
If alicorns are usually made and not born, how did Cadence earn her wings so young?
Who knows?
Cadance's birthplace was identified as Vanhoover. On September 12, 2019, Jim Miller was asked "Do we know why or how cadance became an alicorn? And was she a unicorn or pegasus before hand?" and replied "We don’t. And it was never discussed, as far as I’m aware."
So this piece is really fitting for our "Italian inspired" alicorn Princess.
A la Follia chord sequence loosely based on Arcangelo Corellis sonata opus 5 nr 12, here transcripted for continuo, chembalo (harpsicord) and woodwinds.
A lot of tempo changes makes this a hard piece to follow and perform well for the donkey.

Continuo and woodwinds with VSTs
Cubase was used for DAW work.
Short musical facts: Continuo is a bass part (as for a keyboard or stringed instrument) used especially in baroque ensemble music and consisting of a succession of bass notes with figures that indicate the required chords. Also called figured bass, thoroughbass. And here it was made with various VST synths/samples in the DAW.

PonyFm seems to be down for quite some time. Will upload my previous OC's material here as an "insurance", sad if it just disappears into the void.
