Iz onoga malo što se može pronaći o ovoj jednoj grupi albuma, čini se kao da su nastali samo za ovaj određeni projekt. Gitarist / vokal Pelle Lindroth, udaraljkaš Ellias Unge, gitarist Mikael Eriksson, basist Jakob Luttinger i klavijaturist Arvid Nerdal okupili su se u Uppsali u Švedskoj. Bilo je to početkom 90-ih, a namjera je bila spojiti njihove omiljene klasične rock utjecaje (uglavnom Bowie i King Crimson), s klasičnom glazbom (osobito Stravinskim). Gunnar Östman bio je prijatelj, koji je svirao violinu i pjevao, u svom bendu. Žice su se činile kao prirodne za projekt, i zamoljen je da se pridruži. Violina je tako dobro funkcionirala s glazbom i Pelleovim glasom, da se više činilo potrebnim. Celistica Lisa Fagius je pronađena, a Pelle je zatim napisao gudačke aranžmane.

Sama glazba je čisti koncept i najbolje se može opisati kao kazalište. "About the Black Eyed Girl" je cjelovita priča, a ispričana je kroz perspektivu dva lika (Lucy i Klaun), te pjevačice (koja bi se mogla opisati kao pripovjedačica). Glazba je navodno pod jakim utjecajem Davida Bowieja i Kinga Crimsona. Jakob Luttinger ih je nazivao "kućnim bogovima" dok se glazba pisala. Također smatra da The Cure, Pink Floyd, Roxy Music i stari Motown imaju neki učinak. Izvedba glumca Malcoma McDowella u filmu "Paklena naranča" bila je inspiracija za lik Klauna.

From what little can be found about this one band of albums, it seems as if they were created only for this particular project. Guitarist/vocalist Pelle Lindroth, percussionist Ellias Unge, guitarist Mikael Eriksson, bassist Jakob Luttinger and keyboardist Arvid Nerdal gathered in Uppsala, Sweden. It was the early 1990s, and the intention was to combine their favorite classical rock influences (mostly Bowie and King Crimson), with classical music (especially Stravinsky). Gunnar Östman was a friend, who played the violin and sang, in his band. The wires seemed like natural for the project, and he was asked to join. The violin worked so well with the music and Pelle's voice, it seemed more necessary. Celist Lisa Fagius was found, and Pelle then wrote string arrangements.

Music itself is a pure concept and can best be described as theater. "About the Black Eyed Girl" is a complete story, and is told through the perspective of two characters (Lucy and the Clown), and a singer (who could be described as a storyteller). The music is reportedly heavily influenced by David Bowie and King Crimson. Jakob Luttinger called them "home gods" as the music was written. He also believes that The Cure, Pink Floyd, Roxy Music and old Motown have some effect. Actor Malcom McDowell's performance in "Hell's Orange" was the inspiration for the clown character.

The EP released before the album is actually more of an announcement. Nothing else was published by INDISCIPLINED LUCY. Unless there's an idea for another piece of musical theater, I think this will remain their only offering. LADISLAV&Z.......
