I recently took a trip to the South of Russia, in particular the city of Sochi located by the Black Sea shore. I like to call this region Russia's California, as in my opinion there are quite a lot of parallels. Sochi is most famous for being the host city of the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics, and it's also a very popular tourist location, as it is one of the few places in Russia which has palm trees and warm weather all year round.
