Massive Attack - Teardrop - 8-Bit Version
Description YT
8-bit version of Teardrop by Massive Attack
How I made this (and how to make your own 8-bit songs):
- find a MIDI file of the song. MIDI files have the extension .mid
- download GXSCC from http://www.geocities.co.jp/SiliconValley-SanJose/8700/P/GXSCCB236/AcceptE.htm
- open the program and press the Play icon
- drag and drop the MIDI file into the program (Note: for true 8-bit sound you want to go into the settings and change to "Famicom-style". The default settings are still old-school but they're more of a Genesis/SNES sound. I also recommend setting the Low-Pass filter to eliminate high-frequency noises you don't need)
- you can listen to the file and see if everything converted OK. If you want to change something, use a MIDI editor.
- click on the Author button
- congratulations, you have an 8-bit song!
