Kiana turns 16 on the same day that she debuts in Melodifestivalen and is thus among the youngest artists in the competition's history.

Kiana Blanckert started singing and dancing at an early age. Her mother is a professional dancer, and Kiana has been taking dance classes since she was three years old. In 2021, she sang her way to a shared second place in Talang.

Kiana has also played the lead role as Pippi at Junibacken and participated in performances at Intiman in Stockholm such as Annie, Ronja Rövardotter and most recently Emil in Lönneberga. In parallel with the participation in the Melodifestivalen, she is one of the two alternating actors who have the main role of Dorothy in the musical The Wizard of Oz in the same venue.

Whether she, the writers or anyone else appreciates the pony version is more doubtful. But it brings more pony happiness and friendship to the world.
