Vocals, Synthesizer – J.W. Purpora*It sure as hell is no Outsiders record, but I'd say it's pretty much equally as convincing a record as Tax's 60's output nonetheless. What we hae here is a very special kind of jazzy folk-rock with some pop influences mixed in at the same time. Somewhere between (perhaps predictably, regarding the fact Tax held both in high esteem) Arthur Lee and Tim Hardin. With the exception that the music here has a more spacious feel to it. Since I have a digital copy I've no idea how the songwriting process was, and only on the 4th song (the first song of the album Wally sings lead on) there is that classic, dark, deeply melancholic Tax stamp (forgive me). Mind, theyre both excellent singers and the female back up singers do a great job as well when called upon. Makes things warm and soulful!
Oh, ''Amsterdam'' is so hauntingly beautiful.../+++'+I have no copyright or copyright ,DVD///+Album,

It was founded by singer Wally Tax in 1969 after disbanding The Outsiders. The group also featured David Oliphant (guitar), Jody Purpora on vocals, guitar and keyboards, and Leendert "Buzz" Busch (drums). In early 1970, the band traveled to New York, where they recorded their debut album of the same name. Produced by Lewis Merenstein, it featured violist/multi-instrumentalist John Cale, with whom Merenstein collaborated on a number of projects, including his debut album Vintage Violence. Bassist Richard Davis also played on this album. It was released in March 1971, and soon after it fell apart.ladislav&zivanovic..........
