So I wanted to create a video looking back on the PMVs this year as I have become more active in the fandom, meet a heck load of ppl and seen alot of awesome work from many talented people

NOTE : There were alot of great PMVs and Collabs this year, it took me more than an hour to limit it down to 5 for each, heck even to limit down it to only 3 Honourable mentions xD

TOP 5 PMVS
(I should drink a shot for everytime I typed "PMV" in this)

1. So I picked this traditional show footage styled pmv as number one, it just shows even if you don't have the crazy and ridiculous talent displayed in these videos, you can still display a beautiful work of art just with show footage, most of these types of PMVs I see are having the same clips over and over again, which for an editor like myself gets quite boring :/ , But this has many nit picky clips from lots of episodes throughout the show, just shows you how well the editor knows his show ;) And 2016 has been a crazy year aswell, and this editor has combined scenes from our current world (which may seem controversial ) But has blended in a way which really let my emotions out. This was terrific in my view.

2. SnowT's PMVs are godlike impressive this one is no exception. His Talents in editing are incredible. How he has blended all these animations, background, typography, heck even music together to create something really really really flawless :o

3. Car Radio PMV is probably the most creative pmv this year. Jack really reached out for creativity and grabbed it. How he has combined elements from other parts outside the pmv boundary and blended it with horses to make something really impressive

4. Ok I saw Dex stream the editing of this pmv, like mid 2015? xD (I'm not too sure :P) So It was a huge letdown to see hm cancell the pmv later but I'm glad he brought it back up and running. When I first saw the final pmv, it made me cry...legit xD, it was something almost all pmvs have not done to me, might be because of the song but it also has to do heavily on the video itself. I can't praise it enough xD

5. (I'm just gonna copy and paste my comment from the video - cuz too lazy :P)
it was minimal and traditional but still complex at the same time as a whole it was great showing the memories of twilight with her friends throughout the show, I think there should be more pmvs like this staying relatable with the show but still adding that extra boost of effects to create zeeee perfect pmv that everyone can enjoy

TOP 5 PMV COLLABS

1. When I first saw this video, my first thougths were, THIS IS THE BEST FRICKIN HORSE MOOSIC VIDEO THIS YEAR , and fast forward 8ish months later it still is x3. Everything about this is perfect, you really cannot get on a higher level than this video. All the editors are incredible. The theme was displayed flawlessly. I'm obsessed with heavy edited videos , so I pretty much lost my shit after I saw this xD It is so badass xD. It's a shame some of em don't do pmv stuff anymore :/

2. So Dazzl & Kooper made a huge comback with their collab. (tbh I never heard of them before). But when I looked back at their past pmvs all of them are ridiculous 0_0. The syncing and timing of this video was great. and the concepts are original. AND THIS SONG AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA I LOVE IT

3. Back again with another snowt video xD This time a collab. So for this again all the editing in the video are superb. the people that took part in this really used their potential to their full and I'm blown away again by another snowt's video xD

4. ayy look it's something i took part in. proof that i do pony stuff with my wasted life 👌 . The one thing about this collab that really made it awesome was the theme of friendship shown by all the editors superbly. Great job guys, I'm glad how far this project has come :)

5. ayy look another thing i took part in, still proof that i still do pony vids with my wasted life 👌👌. Now this video took...8 FRICKIN MONTHS TO MAKE. LIKE WOW. and for me seeing this project come together over the year through, crashes, failed renders, skype dying, discord growing, depression, video editing senpais, spam messages and a whole load of other shenanigans ...it really made it special for me :)
