Liner Notes -Roger Maglio...Seompi - Awol 1970 SAD, Psychedelic Rock, Hard Rock..Seompi su na vrlo kratkom popisu teksaških bendova koji su uspješno prihvatili nastajući heavy rock zvuk na prijelazu desetljeća, koristeći ga (kao i Mariani i, u manjoj mjeri , Josefus) za stvaranje provokativne izvorne glazbe. Stvorio ga je Williams 1969. godine kao power trio bez gitarista, upravo je ova neobična postava snimila prvi singl na Blackstaru. Kad su i 45 i dual-bas gitarska postava naišli na ravnodušnost javnosti, Williams je mudro završio eksperiment i doveo Watkinsa na gitari. Ova tradicionalnija postava kvarteta snimila je svu glazbu koja se čula u dvije gore navedene cjelovečernje kolekcije, koje se preporučuju. Created by Williams in 1969 as a power trio without a guitarist, it was this unusual line-up that recorded the first single on Blackstar. When both the 45 and the dual-bass guitar lineup met with public indifference, Williams wisely ended the experiment and brought in Watkins on guitar. This more traditional quartet line-up recorded all the music heard in the two full-length collections above, which are highly recommended. Both contain the band's second and third releases, and are supplemented with rehearsal tapes of varying quality. Fans of dark hard rock should explore this band's music. Williams was formerly with The Headstones, and their retrospective CD 24 Hours (Every Day) also includes Seompi's second and third 45s.ladislasv&zivanovic.....
