Red Teaming is all the rage nowadays and it is amazing how it can help organizations to improve despite of how ready or NOT ready they are for a Red Teaming engagement. In todays world, if you are an attractive target for cyber attackers, or have a lot to lose, you should be doing Threat Hunting. The best way to get good at it, is to have a Red Team (or Purple Team) playing as your adversary and to compare notes. A training course and a cyber exercise might be a fast (and safe) way to get started, but nothing beats the Red Team coming at you in real life, in your production environment. We will cover Red and Purple Teaming a bit. Better yet, I will also cover some production Red Teaming war stories from Estonia and abroad, along with lessons learned. Come and see if you might need some Red Teaming and if you should step up from Threat Detection to Threat Hunting.
