It's an MLP/Fallout crossover fanfiction that is quite possibly one of the best things you'll ever read. If you don't mind colourful horses killing each other, and like stories that are around 700,000 words long, then you'll probably like it a lot. Especially so if you enjoy Fallout.
I'd put it up in the top three things I've ever read, whether fanfic or published novel. Maybe even THE best.

@Pyre at mach 5. also all u have to do to avoid RD is sidestep or sidefly. you cant maintain mach5 while zigzaging. and no pulling up and making a wide loop is not what i meant, i mean precision flying. so point is a griffon pawns a pegasi in melee combat, and since RD cant shoot lasers, she has to confront gilda in melee, and rainbooming an intelligent flyer like gilda is stupid. this conversation, i hope, is done.

in the fan fic- Fallout equestria in the memory orb that discribed the start of this fight. The enclave pegsi had sent in Griffen mercs to hunt her down and end her life, due to being the only pegsi to reject there plan to seel up the sky and leave equestria to its fate.
among these mercs was Gilda in the memory orb we get a small exstange between the two.
if you guys rewatched the episode instead of pmsing over how gilda made fluttershy cry, you would know that rainbowdash used to be friends with gilda, like best friends. if gilda stole then so did rainbow. in the ending rainbow chose her new friends over gilda, which wasnt very "element of loyalty" like. rainbowdash could have "converted" gilda ya know? or atleast sit down in private with her to find out why she was so mad. if they did fight gilda would be the one least likely to fight serious.
The battle takes place 2 weeks after Episode 4 of Season 1, Gilda challenges Dash to a battle. Learning new skills, Gilda is tougher and meaner than ever. Pinkie, of cousre, back Dash up.

Also, the prospect that Gilda having eagle eyes would let her perceive and react to something Dash's size coming towards her at mach 5 (around the speed the Sonic Rainboom is generally gauged)? That's beyond ludicrous.

The argument just made me laugh, people tend to forget its just a show and therefore, the artists can do whatever the hell they want with their characters. If they want Pinkie to somehow extend her legs to a point at which impossible they will and they have. Besides, this is Equestria we're talking about, not America, not Earth. How do we know that their sciences work the same as ours do? Oh and um, sorry for totally going on a rant, and possibly prevoking another arugement. Had to say it.
Fallout Equestria isn't really that sadistic. There's violence and murder and questionable actions, sure, but it's nowhere near the level of Cupcakes, is actually explained well and used for a reason other than to shock and disgust the reader. Not to mention that Fo:E is far and away the better of the two in terms of story, writing, characters, villains, motivations, descriptions... Pretty much everything except pointless violence, actually.

And since you made the silly attempt of hauling real science into this: even assuming Gilda was good enough at precision flying to outfly a smaller, more agile foe, the prospect that it's possible to 'sidefly' something that creates as much displacement in the air as Dash at Rainboom speeds is beyond ridiculous. Nevermind that it's been shown Dash can pull 90 to 45 degree turns going that fast, so yes, she could peg Gilda even if the latter tried to avoid her.

I never said I personally found it shocking or disgusting.That is Cupcakes' purpose, but it failed. The writing was mediocre, the jokes were poor quality and everything that could have possibly been OOC and left-field was, to the point where I was laughing at the sheer stupidity of what I was reading.
The only thing left is the violence, which is the poorest aspect of it all. I'm not perturbed by pointless, OOC gore for gore's sake.

If they want Pinkie to somehow extend her legs to a point at which impossible they will and they have. Besides, this is Equestria we're talking about, not America, not Earth. There's violence and murder and questionable actions, sure, but it's nowhere near the level of Cupcakes, is actually explained well and used for a reason other than to shock and disgust the reader. Not to mention that Fo:E is far and away the better of the two in terms of story, writing, characters, villains, motivations, descriptions... Pretty much everything except pointless violence, actually. And you're very welcome.

And since you made the silly attempt of hauling real science into this: even assuming Gilda was good enough at precision flying to outfly a smaller, more agile foe, the prospect that it's possible to 'sidefly' something that creates as much displacement in the air as Dash at Rainboom speeds is beyond ridiculous. Nevermind that it's been shown Dash can pull 90 to 45 degree turns going that fast, so yes, she could peg Gilda even if the latter tried to avoid her.

0 likesI never said I personally found it shocking or disgusting.That is Cupcakes' purpose, but it failed. The writing was mediocre, the jokes were poor quality and everything that could have possibly been OOC and left-field was, to the point where I was laughing at the sheer stupidity of what I was reading. The only thing left is the violence, which is the poorest aspect of it all. I'm not perturbed by pointless, OOC gore for gore's sake. It's just bad gore-porn, really. Nothing to kick a stink over.
