This reminds me so much of the cool girl monologue from gone girl, and honestly i felt like this encapsulated that slow burn anger so well.

Oh wow this one is soooo cool. I absolutely love the chord progression and the chorus reeeaally gets me musically. The lyrics are also so compact and specific and very interpretive, it’s very compelling. I also totally feel the content as well, I wish I could be easy and brush things off and have fun without getting attached or letting things affect me so much, but alas. I don't remember where or when, but at one point Dodie said she often worries her songs are too simple. But it's part of her style.
