I want to express how much I fail to understand what you're saying. This is not an attack, I just don't get where you're coming from.
The relation between LGBT people and the majority you're talking about is a complex one. There is as many situations as there are people.
When I read you talk about the "I'm a straight guy but..." I see many LGBT people who DO feel the need for their community/sexuality/gender to be validated not just by people of the same community but by that very majority.
So yes, there is a lot of awkwardness, of clumsiness when people whant to express their feeling about the situation.
I was not there when those straight guys said that to you so I won't comment on whether or not they thought that "coming from a straight guy that says a lot". Maybe that's what they thought, maybe you felt it that way. As for me, I tend to not talk about that or give my opinion because I'm often afraid people might get offended even if I think that what I'm saying is supposed to make them feel better.
Maybe I'm wrong and I hope I am, but this kind of speech tends to scare away people from helping the LGBT to be validated, thinking something along the line of "If we express our solidarity as "the majority" to open eyes of those who don't like you, you are upset. If we are silent about it and don't raise our voice, you are upset as well. Is there a good attitude at all?"
I know that the "you" is not representing the same people. Some want the LGBT to take this fight alone, some want the majority to join them to reinforce the idea that it is normal against the bigots.

The people who complain aren't true fans, I'd say. We should support our favorite content creators for what they do, not what we want them to do. I've never belittled anyone for doing whatever they want with their channel, nor do I intend to start that. These people take time out of their days to bring us content of all shapes and sizes and do not deserve the kind of 'hate' they receive.

First of all, I'd like to point out that, I love the female X female roleplay. There awesome. Also I have nothing against gays or lesbian. Most videos are gender neutral anyway as gender specific aspects almost never get used (mostly comes down to genitals, which would never get mentioned anyway because it is r18). As a man you can totally watch a video meant for a female audience, Make-up videos in ASMR are really relaxing.
So people should stop complaining, if she wants to do lesbian, gay or non gendered characters let her do them. She does what she wants and we watch what we are interested in. =)

Hi kitti. I can certainly agree with some of your points about the comments. I've seen quite a few over the top or inappropriate comments that I've quietly removed. As for new content. How about a supportive friend for a newly out gay or bisexual male. For example dating advice or helping meet perspective love interests. I have honestly not seen something like this before and I would definitely love to see it

I never understand why creators seem to only look at a select few being negative while they should only be looking towards the majority being positive. There are negative people in every community, always has, always will be, it sucks but that's just how it is.
Either way it sucks, but those kinds of people aren't going to be the ones watching this video, I'm not fully sure how youtube works but if you can report them do that, otherwise just block them and get them out of your life. About the horrible representation just look at the ongoing things like Drag queen story time where there were pedohiles reading books to kids or man calling themselves woman to compete in athletics (since males have a scientific proven stronger muscles then woman) because they wont get far if they need to compete against man.

Zek I kind of understand what you mean. Sometimes writers just throw a sprinkling of gay into a show to get the lgbt viewers on side. But that is dangerously close to queerbaiting and just causes fans to get pissed off. A character whose sole existence can be summed up with their sexuality is silly. That's as bad as the "token black guy" in the teen films from the 90s-early 2000s.
These toxic 1%ers need to cease. You posted a warning before that vid that clearly said, "If you don't like it, skip over it because there is more regular stuff to come." So I did what any content fan would do, I stopped in, left a like, and passed over to the next vid. No harm, no foul. Maybe to fit in with pride month you could play a character and/or be helping a listener who is trans go through their transition?

The people who complain aren't true fans, I'd say. We should support our favorite content creators for what they do, not what we want them to do. I've never belittled anyone for doing whatever they want with their channel, nor do I intend to start that. These people take time out of their days to bring us content of all shapes and sizes and do not deserve the kind of 'hate' they receive.

Most videos are gender neutral anyway as gender specific aspects almost never get used (mostly comes down to genitals, which would never get mentioned anyway because it is r18).

So people should stop complaining, if she wants to do lesbian, gay or non gendered characters let her do them. She does what she wants and we watch what we are interested in. =)
You do the video's you wanna do. If someone doesn't like it, fine they can go find another video to watch.

6 likesHi kitti. I can certainly agree with some of your points about the comments. I've seen quite a few over the top or inappropriate comments that I've quietly removed. As for new content. How about a supportive friend for a newly out gay or bisexual male. For example dating advice or helping meet perspective love interests. I have honestly not seen something like this before and I would definitely love to see it

I never understand why creators seem to only look at a select few being negative while they should only be looking towards the majority being positive. There are negative people in every community, always has, always will be, it sucks but that's just how it is.

There are many many people that love and support whatever you do, just let the true community surround you and support you and remove the negative abusive people.

0 likesBeing underrepresented is normal since lgbtq people only make up around 3% of the population in the US so of course you dont get the main stage in society but you have a month.
About the horrible representation just look at the ongoing things like
Drag queen story time where there were pedohiles reading books to kids or man calling themselves woman to compete in athletics (since males have a scientific proven stronger muscles then woman) because they wont get far if they need to compete against man.

2 likesMy problem with LGBT isn't the cause itself, because I don't have any issue with that, my problem is the fact that more often than not, it gets shoved into a lot of places where it doesn't make sense and adds nothing other than ¨Hey, we got an LGBT character and don't do anything with it, but you'll eat it up anyways¨ and to me that gets really tiring after a while

Also you know very well corporations wanna profit off poorly written lgbt characters which media outlets will overhype even if the corporations don't make a big deal of it. We don't want that shit, we don't want characters who's whole focus is them being lgbt, we just want some characters that happen to be lgbt. 0 likesZek I kind of understand what you mean. Sometimes writers just throw a sprinkling of gay into a show to get the lgbt viewers on side. But that is dangerously close to queerbaiting and just causes fans to get pissed off. A character whose sole existence can be summed up with their sexuality is silly. That's as bad as the "token black guy" in the teen films from the 90s-early 2000s.

I mean really, it's all just harmless fun, stories, and asmr. I wasn't up to watch it, since it's not really my thing. So I did what any content fan would do, I stopped in, left a like, and passed over to the next vid. No harm, no foul. It's really not difficult, she's still the same person, same quality stories, just tone shifted.

I have a friend who's gay and we disagree on the LGBT movement but we still treat each other with kindness.

@SkyeHigh So me being disabled isn't considered a Identity but someone who isn't sexually attracted to the opposite gender or is attracted to both genders is considered a identity? It seems like people do consider the disabled a Identity since I've heard stories of people being upset that abled actors are portraying disabled characters instead of disabled actors. You can't compare a disability to an identity, that's ridiculous, and in a world where male protagonists are the standard, of course you don't need validation, you've been getting out your whole life through almost every piece of media. Just cause you don't understand validation doesn't mean that people who'd like more representation doesn't mean they have low self-esteem, your thought process isn't universal
