I remember doing this for LEGO Star Wars. I was trying to unlock a character at the time and I was so close so I had to keep playing.

My DSi is up with my collection of "prized possessions," like a model of the Bismark, a german trench shovel, an M1 Garand clip, and a 5.24 Diskette. I do occasionally get my DSi down and play some Pokemon Diamond, or something else.
Life was simple back then.
We had no idea what was coming, didn't we?

The first thing that comes to mind when someone says DS is when I had a DS Lite growing up and I was excited as fuck when I heard the teachers say that we could bring it on the bus during field trips and people would get hype just because we wanted to use Pictochat with one another and draw whatever was cool in the mid-late 2000s. I remember either being on my DS or my friend's DS and I wrote the word "bitch" and sent it and the guy in the chat started crying and almost told on me to which I told him that I wrote sorry in the chat.

That and some girl who I used to be friends with but stopped talking to accidentally stole one of my games and I had yet to ask for it back, it was that Wizards of Waverly Place game.

Reminds me of when me and my brothers would play Pictochat instead of sleeping back in the day.

Except I was smart enough to use headphones on my og phat DS. I still got it too! Been my main DS driver until the 3DS came out in 2011.

I never had Super Mario 64 DS, but I had Mario Kart 7, and that was the stuff back in the day.

I used to think that back then I was the only one with helicopter parents that creepily walked into your room at night, I still don’t understand why this was such a bad thing for parents like bruh just let me play
