I don't see what the problem of taking the money is -- you're taking money from the scammers, and showing their ads to people who aren't going to be harmed by it (as opposed to more tech-illiterate people who can get things like their bank info stolen.) If you feel bad about taking money that was probably at one point scammed from other people, I get that. Donating it to charity is a good idea; when the sanctions get more laxed and you're able to do that, I think you should do that.

This takes me back to when I was a kid in intermediate school on a school computer that got completely hosed by me. How? I downloaded SO much shady software and malware that it completely killed the OS, which was Windows 2000, connected to the internet. My intermediate school didn't have a good firewall to have me wander the web as a kid unsupervised. XD
you should be careful even on virtual box. certain viruses can detect virtual machines and can infect the host pretty easily without any complex code and that is through the wifi or connected devices

@@TeamHELPER you never know what's coming. adwares are viruses and some of them use resources to mine bitcoin or shit like that. I've had adwares that messed my browser homepage so I had to reinstall Chrome and search deep into other temp/cache folders to fully erase them. download links are also ip grabbers and data grabbers meaning you give them money by selling your available data or maybe get leaked/doxxed in rare occasions. silly data like screen resolution, ip, Mac, pc brand can give them a lot of bucks. and that's a brief introduction. if you begin to spam fake download buttons and links the odds of getting more serious viruses increase. sure you won't get a ransomware because of safety levels both from your pc and chrome but I wouldn't like to get an annoying adware, pup or miner every time so I simply look for the real buttons first and if I miss click I simply close the tab instantly

@@ceesgamingchannel1742 No existing os is protected from malware or exploits.. check for cves for linux kernels or other vulnerability, they are quite easy to exploit. Same for ios, apple released a 0 day update about a month ago to fix important vulnerability issues (exploitable via malware or exploit kit)
Usually malwares check for cpu temps/fan settings to verifiy if they are running on a vm or not.. quite hard to simulate. However, to avoid risks, on vmware you can configure the lan as host-only: it will simulate an internet connection but it is routed to that same vm, sort of a loopback address. OS will see it as a working connection but you won't have any access to the net/the actual lan. Also, you could theorically use nested virtualization to run a vm in a vm, but it will required certain processors and a bit of knowledge.
this isnt virtualbox. its vmware lmaoo you cant bypass vmware. its so fast and the security on it is amazing virtualbox is ass and he has used virtual machines for a while its impossible for viruses to escape out of virtual machines if you have used it for a while
To answer your question, I quickly made an Artix Linux virtual machine and went to the website with the latest version of Firefox and uBlock Origin installed. It's exactly what I thought it was going to be: Without popups or redirects, but with the fake download buttons.

@@siryakari5115 you don't need to disconnect from your network. Noescape doesn't try to mass spread itself or do anything malicious over the Web. All destruction is done through regedit keys and other things that don't affect the WiFi or anyone using it.

@@siryakari5115 you don't need to disconnect from your network. Noescape doesn't try to mass spread itself or do anything malicious over the Web. All destruction is done through regedit keys and other things that don't affect the WiFi or anyone using it.
