They really tried to resolve every last conflict they could by the time the series ended, but maybe they should have just sent Fluttershy after every villain from the beginning.
5:42 Rainbow: "That's Doctor Caballeron in disguise!" PonyBro: "Thank you for noticing!" Not only have these ponies' characters developed, but so have their perception skills. :)
After my dissatisfaction with the last Daring Do entry, this title had picked up the slack for me.
I was more interested in this episode because of the elements that it had, similar to the DD episodes that came before “Daring Don’t (plenty of action sequences and exciting moments).” Of course, Ahuizotl’s comeback made this episode more interesting too.
Basically, this Daring Do episode was satisfying for my taste, with its premise and the collection of jokes from the Truth talisman. That’s why “Daring Doubt” is my favorite of the Daring Do episodes of the show.
Rainbow: "I'm going to publish my story about meeting Daring Do in the Friendship Journal!" Also Rainbow: "How dare someone else write that Daring Do is real!"
I loved it when Rainbow Dash said she needs the deluxe spa package. She normally tries to hide the fact that she likes getting pampered as shown in the episode Applejack's Day Off.
2:34 "I'll let you off, just 'cause you're Fluttershy." It's amazing how much you can change the meaning of a sentence with a single word, or even a single letter. For instance, check out what happens when you replace one of the L's in that statement with a G...
After the last episode “She Talks to Angel” featuring Zecora, it didn’t look into her homeland and in the wake of what direction the Daring Do characters went through at the end, I pictured a crossover like this:
A.K. Yearling unable to find any inspiration in writing a new book after Ahuizotl’s jungle is now off limits to her and Caballeron. As Daring Do, she hears of a wise zebra in the Everfree Forest and heads there. Upon arrival, Zecora uses her cauldron magic to point out unexplored terrain in Equestria. Curious, Daring leaves but Zecora advises her not to wander there alone and decides to accompany her on her exploration.
01:42 Sounds like George R. R. Martin ;) And he's got a beard too ;) 01:59 Who else? ;J 02:30 Always drinking the cool aid first :) 03:51 But, but, think of the spiders!!! :o 05:20 It might be, but from the economic standpoint, that's the perfect choice of place for a competitor. Easier to steal the customers that come to the original business ;J 08:48 Not in the first couple of seasons at least :q 09:16 So she does kick puppies! :D 10:50 The little one is their boss :D 11:06 Another recurring theme in this episode ;) 13:11 You mean the lens flare effect? ;) Yeah, the animation quality definitely improved throughout those seasons... 14:04 Ancient lasers :> That's what I like ;> (Speaking of which... "The Mysterious Cities of Gold" anyone? :> ) 14:26 Just like Indiana Jones... :J 14:39 So what did you write about those spider webs, Messieur Caballeron? ;q 15:32 Great, almost died in the lava... :q 19:46 Yeah, if anything we learnt from this show, is that there is no "just bad guys" – they're always bad because of reasons, and once you learn their reasons, you can try fixing them. 20:46 If by "ferocious" you mean that time when you tried to bring 800 years of unrelenting heat to the entire Tenochtitlan basin... :q 21:27 What about all those artefacts they stole earlier? :J 22:00 What's going on? Well, a splashdown of a new ship, that's what :D 22:10 Yeah :D WTF indeed :D Ahuizotl reading to children ;D 22:40 Well, there's still Suri Polomare, Sven Gallop, Spoiled Milk... :D And let's not forget about our evil trio ;>
Imo, Sven is probably the least reformable. I could more easily imagine Tirek, Spoiled, and Cozy teaming up to save Equestria than I could see Svengallop giving a drink of water to a pony dying of thirst.
No, just the local valley, and there is room to explain the event. I heard among fans ideas like "defense mechanism" or "rainforest is known to be sweltering" to even "not THAT kind of heat, wink". ^_^'
I didn't like this episode. Fluttershy comes off as stupid. The way they reformed Ahuizotl goes against what has previously been established. The ending is kind of dumb.
Fluttershy fans were positively glowing over how well Fluttershy was written in this episode.

19 likesWait, scratch that, Dashie's here. Still no songs, though.

1 like@Names Am I Right? But the kids in "Fame and Misfortune" were talking with Dash about "the adventure she had with Daring Do". So. . .
3 likesActually I saw the video just in case, and in the journal it didn’t mention anything about daring do, it only mentioned about a awesome pony

Maybe there's more DD goodness in the season 10 comic? Hopefully?
