I just wanted to say I really liked the stuff you put out. Sad to see you go and nothing can be done about that. If others give a bad name to a thing you like (an issue I've been coping with myself a fair bit), remember that no-one can define who you are, except yourself. FiM is a show with which Faust wanted to spread happiness, positive messages, rational thinking, and mutual understanding. No one will ever be able to take that away, so long as you won't let yourself be corrupted. It might not always be apparent but you're far from alone in this.
@Dandelion Ass I watched it. Sucks that this stuff happens but I think it also shows a lot of people do still care, and it's up to artists and creators to make sure of that.
For some, it's simply a matter of losing interest or not having time to keep up with the show. Others had terrible experiences which left them unwilling to participate with their peers. I initially wore the "Brony" label as a badge of honor. People [spoke poorly of] it, but I wasn't a cringelord and I thought it was funny how many people were hating a show simply because it looked dumb. I even went to some of the meetups and conventions. I know that not everyone is a cringelord (#NotAllBronies). You can like whatever the f**k you like and it's fine by me. But I was there in the beginning, and I can't disassociate the worst of the herd from the show itself. That show is now, for me, one of those things frozen in time that I only associate with a period of my life even if it was nearly a decade. Every once in a while I will see something from the series and I'll be able to touch what it felt like back then. I'm not really sure what happened, but things started falling apart. Friends started dropping out of the "fandom" or became toxic. All of the big names in fan-music (it sounds silly, I know) moved on to other projects and by then it didn't seem fun to me anymore. I decide to move on....
