Predvođeni kombinacijom oca i sina gitarista Brune Braka Rosettija i bubnjara Igora Rosettija, grupa donosi jedinstveni europski zaokret pjesmama Lynyrd Skynyrd, Molly Hatcher i Allman Brothers Banda. Odlikovali su se na natjecanju cover bandova na talijanskom #Max Cover Festivalu u ožujku 2001.
Dog Soldier doživio je brojne kadrovske promjene od svog osnutka 1998. godine. Samo stariji Rosetti ostaje iz originalne grupe. The sounds of southern rock and blues were imported to Italy by a quintet from Rowena, Dog Soldier. Led by a combination of father and son guitarist Bruno Brak Rosetti and drummer Igor Rosetti, the band brings a unique European twist to the songs of Lynyrd Skynyrd, Molly Hatcher and the Allman Brothers Band. They excelled in the cover band competition at the Italian #Max Cover Festival in March 2001.
Dog Soldier has undergone numerous personnel changes since its founding in 1998. Only the older Rosetti remains from the original group. Current lead vocalist Sergio Gigio Deggiovaanni, guitarist Leonardo Dallo Dall'olio and bassist Gabriele Liverani have previously collaborated with Italian rock bands such as Soundblast, Unable and Sotterranei.
