That way you have a chance to get your main channel monetised and have a secind side channel that you can keep unmonetised and away from Youtubes disctorship rules. I also think it be best to remove the mature stuff from this main channel and migrate them to the second one should you go with that idea.

Maybe the answer would be to put the mature videos on your Patreon at the $1 membership level. These were videos you were posting on Youtube, anyway, and $1 is more than you were getting for each pair of eyes on ads, so you'd profit while also luring people to your patreon page. Maybe give half the video on Youtube but stop short of the 'Mature' rating and offer the complete videos at the $1 level. If you dropped the $10 rewards to the $5 level, you'd probably get a lot more people joining at that level as well (or maybe offer half the $10 videos to the $5 patrons, thus encouraging people to join at that level and tempting them to join even higher if they like the content).
Its definitely because this channel is smaller that they denied you, id say wait till you grow a little more (which obviously you will because you are great plus the radio show should definitely help get you known) and then try again and if they still are being bums then you can try taking down those older videos and for now just make the content like you are now, try to stay positive and know we all care and support you and your family! :) (Also a little off topic but I feel stupid because I just found out you did a video a month ago on that tanuki Trua, just needed to say she is the best!
