i doubt you’ll ever see this dodie. but i babysat a girl with cancer for years, along with her siblings. she passed away two years ago in march. her 9th birthday was this past saturday. they sang this song at her funeral so it has significant value to me and i got a tattoo of a blackbird because of it. thank you for making a beautiful song even more beautiful

I don't know why, I tried to come up with some adjectives to describe this cover, but the word that surfaced in my mind was "fragile". A delicate rendition. Such a subtle and peaceful well spent 2 minutes of my life, like watching a snowflake melt away.

But I also for some reason absolutely love indie artists like you, Jacob (Collier), etc that make really sweet feel good songs.
It's a perfect thematic contrast from the dark and heavy subjects in what I normally listen to and it's a perfect balance for me. Thanks for existing
