The Orange County Choppers Fight is such a great meme cause it has such a vague structure and allows for a bunch of creative uses. One of my favorites is the one where he yells at his son and his son just says “I died in the crash you need to forget me” and disappears. That’s creative as fuck.

I find it sad that Spongebob has been proven time and time again to have the potential to make a good meme, but instead It feels like people are now deliberately choosing the most shitty ways to make memes out of it just so it can be relateable and as unoffensive it can be so people don't have to think that what they're looking at is actually funny or not.

I really love this new format, it’s a good way to have a meme review video more consistently and with more memes reviewed. Although I really enjoy minute memes I think it’s biggest flaw is that those videos look like they take so long to produce that only one meme can be reviewed at a time and the distance between these reviews were quite far apart and the other problem is that again they probably took a lot of time so by the time the review was out no one cared about the meme anymore. And this new format solves both these. I’m really hoping for more of this format of video soon and as always your really entertaining.

The best part of the Stars meme is seeing the artists draw something to go along with it... and that’s about it. You may like the first few but that’s about it

If you keep this series going I'd appreciate it, I am not much of an outsider myself, I can recognize memes on sight as I "proved to myself" by not being caught off guard by any of the memes on this video however I am afraid I am not up to par with the origins of the memes themselves and what they represent sometimes. I'd swap the grades on "If you don't love me at ___" and "Twitter Stars." At least with the stars, a handful of people actually got creative with the meme and made good looking art for it. "If you don't love me at___" just feels like another bland normie meme.

Although I wouldn't argue that the stars meme is funny, I would argue that a lot of Japanese twitter accounts did some pretty creative stuff with it. I saw a lot of artsy things being done, and I feel like you may have missed that when looking up memes of that.

I felt basically the same way about the memes this month. I think the Ed Edd n Eddy meme would've worked better if some of them actually mixed the sound effects with the original audio cuz it feels kind of empty when there's no other background noises

Yes! The Drake and Josh Door Hole meme is deserving of that grade. Glad there's some people that don't "despise" it in an over the top manner. (You can hate it if you want. Just don't shove that hatred as a means to ridicule those who like said meme.)

The interesting thing about "Who killed Hannibal" is that it started of as just another image labeling meme but then people got more creative and put some actual effort into some nice shops.

Well so far 2018 has been a good year for memes (I mean activity wise, most of the memes so far have been pure shit but keep in mind last year there were little to no “big memes” like there were in the “great meme war” of late 2016, the most we got for a “trend” was the crash bandicoot “Woah” meme, and the redbone meme that caught on in July (never really thought it was all that funny. Now we have memes that are funny for a week and then crash and burn and won’t go away)
