@@m.rezkiananda306 I did some research and found that having too many distros on a single boot drive will cause GRUB instability, especially when mixing Arch and Debian variants, so I decided that it's better to just dual-boot Windows and one Linux distro while running other distros in VirtualBox.
Quite frankly, even deca-booting is possible given the amount of disk space I have, but I don't think I really need to go that far. If I could add a Fedora-based and Red Hat-based distro though, then at least I could get an experience with dealing with all the major Linux variants. Arch Linux would be too complicated for me, though, so that's why I want to install Manjaro, which is Arch-based.
Why did you switch your background to anime? I kinda miss it when you used the “Windows 10” theme, but it also reminds me when your channel had an anime character drawing as an icon.

@@XsaviXander I wrote an entire essay on Windows 10. What am I doing with my life? Anyway, do you have any other reasons why you prefer 10 over 7 besides just performance? Obviously 10 is better than 7 in that regard because 10 is newer and is better optimized(10 and 7 have the same system requirements). Personally, 7 is more user friendly, has a better UI, is more stable and it's also not a rolling release like 10(doesn't get "feature updates", but gets security updates). I don't see any benefits that 10 has over 7. Maybe DirectX 12 and wider platform support, but I don't play newer games and I don't have anything that uses touchscreens that runs 10 so that doesn't matter to me. Really the only things that 10 does better than 7 is hardware and software support and support of multiple platforms, but that is just because 10 is newer. I don't have a touchscreen monitor or laptop, so 10 is pointless to me. My hardware supports 7 since I use hardware from 2013-16 so I'm planning on going back to 7.
@@Silexium So disorganization is what you're describing. Windows 7 in my opinion sucks compared to Windows 10. Performance wise especially. To their own though. :)
The whole thing is a clusterfuck. Code tracing back all the way to DOS, legacy code(Win32), UWP(which is pretty much dead, even Microsoft is allowing Win32 programs in the Windows Store). All this backwards compatibility leads to design inconsistencies(Win32 and UWP coexisting with eachother) and an overall unfinished product. On top of that, Windows 10 is basically a hybrid-OS(for mobile platforms and traditional desktop PCs), leading to, again, design inconsistencies and an overall environment not suited for desktop PCs. There are also these "feature updates" that add a bunch of useless features that no one uses and they sometimes make the OS buggier than before. Like, seriously? Who needs Mixed Virtual Reality, Cortana, the XBOX app, the Phone app and all of the other bloatware included with the system. The whole thing feels like a broken beta with issues that will never be addressed(Settings and Control Panel still exist, a unified Control Panel has been promised to us ever since Windows 8, and look where we are now, nowhere). Not to mention all the bugs, like updates hanging and breaking systems, FLAWLESS UWP design(scrollbar inconsistency and some other stuff), UWP apps break too easily(Settings and a bunch of other things on my PC are useless. I can't logoff out of my current user account or a black screen happens, Defender is completely useless - there are no options to select in the Security Center, fast boot causes a black screen). All I did was use CCleaner(my fault, I know, but HOW can a registry cleaner break a system completely?) Basically, from my experience, 10 is an ugly, broken mess that doesn't offer anything that's worth upgrading to over Windows 7. Anything 10 can do, Windows 7 does better.

@@XsaviXander I wrote an entire essay on Windows 10. What am I doing with my life? Anyway, do you have any other reasons why you prefer 10 over 7 besides just performance? Obviously 10 is better than 7 in that regard because 10 is newer and is better optimized(10 and 7 have the same system requirements). Personally, 7 is more user friendly, has a better UI, is more stable and it's also not a rolling release like 10(doesn't get "feature updates", but gets security updates). I don't see any benefits that 10 has over 7. Maybe DirectX 12 and wider platform support, but I don't play newer games and I don't have anything that uses touchscreens that runs 10 so that doesn't matter to me. Really the only things that 10 does better than 7 is hardware and software support and support of multiple platforms, but that is just because 10 is newer. I don't have a touchscreen monitor or laptop, so 10 is pointless to me. My hardware supports 7 since I use hardware from 2013-16 so I'm planning on going back to 7.

0 likesThe whole thing is a clusterfuck. Code tracing back all the way to DOS, legacy code(Win32), UWP(which is pretty much dead, even Microsoft is allowing Win32 programs in the Windows Store). All this backwards compatibility leads to design inconsistencies(Win32 and UWP coexisting with eachother) and an overall unfinished product. On top of that, Windows 10 is basically a hybrid-OS(for mobile platforms and traditional desktop PCs), leading to, again, design inconsistencies and an overall environment not suited for desktop PCs. There are also these "feature updates" that add a bunch of useless features that no one uses and they sometimes make the OS buggier than before. Like, seriously? Who needs Mixed Virtual Reality, Cortana, the XBOX app, the Phone app and all of the other bloatware included with the system. The whole thing feels like a broken beta with issues that will never be addressed(Settings and Control Panel still exist, a unified Control Panel has been promised to us ever since Windows 8, and look where we are now, nowhere). Not to mention all the bugs, like updates hanging and breaking systems, FLAWLESS UWP design(scrollbar inconsistency and some other stuff), UWP apps break too easily(Settings and a bunch of other things on my PC are useless. I can't logoff out of my current user account or a black screen happens, Defender is completely useless - there are no options to select in the Security Center, fast boot causes a black screen). All I did was use CCleaner(my fault, I know, but HOW can a registry cleaner break a system completely?) Basically, from my experience, 10 is an ugly, broken mess that doesn't offer anything that's worth upgrading to over Windows 7. Anything 10 can do, Windows 7 does better.
