I think this video has actually more noise than the COD Ghosts video on this Youtube channel. Besides the insane amount of noise going through, it's funny seeing MLG people go crazy. The COD Ghosts comparison was pretty good too, but that's another video on a slightly different topic.
I like how in sc2 or league e sports they go over shake the other teams hand and tell them good game. In this there showboating to the other team and showing off the fact that they won a fucking match that may or may not have not been close...sportsman ship.
I don't think I've ever heard a video that sounds worse than this. I also NEVER say this but RIP Headphone users...and probably non headphone users too lol
In my opinion, COD is extremly casual. Take these "Gangster Boys" with snapbacks and throw them into CS and they will get destroyed completly. The game is casual, with all the dumbed down elements that make it easier. Killstreaks for example. I belive that RTS's like Starcraft and Company Of Heroes and a true FPS like CS or Quake actually focus on many different things. True tactics.
So in a nutshell, MLG is random flashing colors/lights/FPS shots, loud noises and the typical "smoke weed everyday" type of thing. Correct me if I'm wrong.
@TheJas20 I'm tardy to the party, but it actually says "aim assist" on Call of Duty games. Not sure about other first-person shooters on consoles though.
i have no fucking idea how they managed to make cod seem like a competitive game , games like counter strike are for example competitive games where you can't just start playing and be good , it takes years.
@G4nst4Ch33se It took me under 2 hours to get to where people consider "MLG" in CoD. It takes me 2-5 days in games that have a class system(I.E. TF2), flight simulators(I.E. War Thunder), Bullet hell with top-down camera view(I.E. Touhou), and the list goes on.
Basically, CoD's skill ceiling so low that even an infant can go 42k/0d.
@TheDragika War Thunder isn't the most accurate flight simulator (even at the simulator difficulty) out there. Some enthusiasts wouldn't even count it as a simulator.
Do you realize how impossible it'd be to play with a controller without auto aim? Playing PC is much easier to aim with mouse and keyboard. If I had time to practice on PC then I guarantee I would be able to have a better shot on there than on console, which is why auto aim is needed. Two thumbsticks are much less precise than mouse and keyboard.
@Said Salikhov Depends on the version of CS. CS GO is incredibly easy to "newbies" due to the fact the Galil and Sawn Off can pretty much win a whole match.
@Alex Mauney i have been playing CS GO for a long time and i'm the rank Eagle , and i gotta tell you galil and sawed-off aren't op at all and not easy, anyone with an ak can kill anyone with a galil , what makes sawed off a easy gun is because it's a shotgun and that means you need to maintain close range which is pretty hard in most cs:go maps so i don't see why galil and sawed-off would make the game easy for newbies but if you said p90 i would understand. AWP is a easy to learn weapon as well because you can pretty much 1shot someone but the game is all about reaction time/reflexes flick shots, when i 1v1 a awp i usually win because i react to it way quicker, which you can improve via training on aim maps

@TheDragika Yeah, maybe in public matches, not in gamebattles against professional players. These guys practice every day of the week to play in the pro circuit. If you were to try and play against them you would get swept without them even trying.
One problem with this... Why is it that COD is being made fun of like this even though this is exactly how other games like Unreal Tournament, Halo, Counter Strike, and Quake were back when they were at these MLG tournaments?

@LostIcePrince It's all a joke about how overly used advertising is in the MLG and CoD games. If you remember with MW3 you could by Mountain Dew and Doritos to get double XP. Now it's a staple low punch at CoD. As so the X are for when you get hit in most modern FPS(CoD is an explain). These are feature heavily in montages parodies because normally they over use things highly. Lens Flares, Screen tilts and shakes. It's a love blow at how MLG wants to become a serious "sport" when all of it's players are childish shit talkers.

The MLG logos and corporate stuff is all self explanatory and feeds on the fact that MLG is just as grossly corporate as any other sport, but that's looking too deep into it. When you see a Durex logo coupled with a Wendy's logo flying over screaming knickledraggers, that should be funny enough in itself without any explaining.

Doritos and mtn dew is because a marketing person once said that mountain dew and doritos are the most important part in a pro gamers life and from then on youll get double xp for every mtn dew and doritos package that you buy. MLG is the console version of esports and as everyone knows console esports is a joke.
@WWEFusion The MLG and CoD pro scenes are full off low IQ trash talkers. While things like Dota 2, SC2, and other non-console scrub scene are a lot better. There is still trash talking but nothing on the level that happens on CoD events.
@RememberPluto MLG now has a big ruleset in place for players who take trash talk and disrespect too far. Also nearly all of the players are good friends and know each other very well outside of the game. There's not been any major trash talk issues for like a year.

5 likesIt took me under 2 hours to get to where people consider "MLG" in CoD. It takes me 2-5 days in games that have a class system(I.E. TF2), flight simulators(I.E. War Thunder), Bullet hell with top-down camera view(I.E. Touhou), and the list goes on.
Basically, CoD's skill ceiling so low that even an infant can go 42k/0d.
@TheDragika War Thunder isn't the most accurate flight simulator (even at the simulator difficulty) out there. Some enthusiasts wouldn't even count it as a simulator.

3 likesDo you realize how impossible it'd be to play with a controller without auto aim? Playing PC is much easier to aim with mouse and keyboard. If I had time to practice on PC then I guarantee I would be able to have a better shot on there than on console, which is why auto aim is needed. Two thumbsticks are much less precise than mouse and keyboard.

0 likes@Alex Mauney i have been playing CS GO for a long time and i'm the rank Eagle , and i gotta tell you galil and sawed-off aren't op at all and not easy, anyone with an ak can kill anyone with a galil , what makes sawed off a easy gun is because it's a shotgun and that means you need to maintain close range which is pretty hard in most cs:go maps so i don't see why galil and sawed-off would make the game easy for newbies but if you said p90 i would understand. AWP is a easy to learn weapon as well because you can pretty much 1shot someone but the game is all about reaction time/reflexes flick shots, when i 1v1 a awp i usually win because i react to it way quicker, which you can improve via training on aim maps

@TheDragika Yeah, maybe in public matches, not in gamebattles against professional players. These guys practice every day of the week to play in the pro circuit. If you were to try and play against them you would get swept without them even trying.

Now it's a staple low punch at CoD. As so the X are for when you get hit in most modern FPS(CoD is an explain). These are feature heavily in montages parodies because normally they over use things highly. Lens Flares, Screen tilts and shakes. It's a love blow at how MLG wants to become a serious "sport" when all of it's players are childish shit talkers.
