But what's here isn't so much hard rock as a very guitar-based blues &prog kind of record, with a clear Wishbone Ash influence. Some of the cuts (mostly long and chatty) have a lot of cute, seventies-sounding solos, and songs often service those solos, not the other way around. It's also mostly instrumental, and songs take forever to get going. It actually sounds more typical of the Japanese edition of a few years ago than the German product from '76. And despite "In Concert" in the title, this is clearly a series of studio recordings. Some CD reissues add a bunch of extra songs, some of which are harder and better than anything on 1976's Good Double Guitar-oriented proggy rock. Some of Rainer Geuecke and Hilmar Szameitat's guitar solos are pure magic. Bonus things are not very good in comparison, but the original long game is great.

Mais ce qui est ici n’est pas tant du hard rock qu’un genre de blues et de prog très basé sur la guitare, avec une influence claire de Wishbone Ash. Certaines des coupes (pour la plupart longues et bavardes) ont beaucoup de mignons, seventies-sounding solos, et les chansons au service de ces solos, pas l’inverse. C’est aussi surtout instrumental, et les chansons prennent une éternité pour aller de l’avant.
