Hey @Enderman :) Nah, logging in as TrustedInstaller wont work as its not a "normal group" but a "Windows Service GUID" rather then a "Security ID". As TI is a Windows service. You can easily generate it yourself. Its the SHA1 hash of the service name (in UPPERCASE). You can however actually just change the corresponding service to execute whatever you like. "sc config TrustedInstaller binPath= "cmd.exe /C del C:\Windows\system32\hal.dll" for example would use the TI service for you to delete hal.dll . (Stop the service , exec command, run the service, file deleted)). You could possible acquire the above mentioned token (but for now you only have query access for it, not actual duplicate access). Change the token info and you should be good to go there - then you are actually "Being" Trustedinstaller as you took over its SID token.

Trusted installer is basically Developer Perms, it will allow you to modify some files, but I think not boot files, such as Hal.dll. Trusted installer is allowed to delete some sys files, like kernel and bootmgr. You might be asking, how do I get these perms? Well, you have to transfer ownership from the trusted installer account. Over to another account, which will give the account the perms.

It's not a user, it's SYSTEM with TrustedInstaller permissions. TrustedInstaller is used by TrustedInstaller.exe, Windows Update

Trusted installer is allowed to delete some sys files, like kernel and bootmgr. You might be asking, how do I get these perms? Well, you have to transfer ownership from the trusted installer account. Over to another account, which will give the account the perms.

if u try do delete it it will bsod and it will reboot as windows vista
and it will crash unless u open the process SYSTEMHOST_TRUSTEDINSTALLEREXPLORER.exe
which will instantly open a glichty windows 7 interface
and the account its running is SYSTEM
and deleting SYSTEMACOOUNT
GOES TO WINDOWSEXPLORER.EXE
there is no way to restore unless u open SETUPTRUSTEDINSTALLER.EXE
wich will fix the problem
but when u see the acoount its logging in its called EASTER_EGG-1
