I learned this from a fellow Sysadmin who was retiring after 40 years. "If it has any form of remote communication its vulnerable. If its on the internet its vulnerable. If its on a sheet of paper, its vulnerable. No matter what, its vulnerable. The question should never be 'if' its always going to be 'when' don't ever let anyone tell you different."
For me, Kasparsky is more accurate when blocking Malwares (tried it on a VM). Though there aren't that much of a difference, but more accuracy is great.
What's your opinion on built in security in Windows 10?

I know you've done a similar video on tiktok or maybe this is the same one, but just yesterday I was wondering which AV you used and or recommend. Thanks again for another informative video. Question though, do you recommend not using the free version? Is Win10 ransomware protection nowhere to near the protection that a paid version of BitDefender would give? Oh yeah and you rock by the way. Keep on kicking arse homie.
Yes, if you are visiting same sites and don't use internet/pc to dig too much. Deeper you go, the more senistive your PC becomes. And ofc.. common sense and knowledge of computers will indeed help you stay fresh..
@Josiii_3x This is false. You're completely ignoring that even the computers the site is hosted on can be compromised. Plenty of attacks are done by hacking a reputable site / service, the one you trust the most. You can only be safe by quarantining your computer 100%.
@Yosyp Indeed. I agree. But let's be real. I'm an un-important figure in eyes of hackers who want to take something. I'm not having millions on my bank account. I'm not a secret agent neither anything like that. I use PC for gaming and regular work with CAD software. I will not clogg up my PC with thousands of memory hog softwares, when common sense is still the best antivirus you can get. And also, all those regular sites, at least one's I visit, are trust me, protected much more then you think, but then again, are the owners of the sites the ones we should trust? Cause all that data they have about us, is used, and they're using it to do lot of mind tricks people are falling for, every day. Sponsored adds about something you hovered your mouse longer then 3 seconds, are just one example.
@Josiii_3x you don't have millions on your account but even a grand stolen for some people would mean the savings of the year. What about your Steam library? What if a hacker stole your account and sold it? It's valuable for you
Just be careful. The chances of getting 'hacked' is quite low if you know what you are doing. Unless your getting targeted or something like that I wouldn't be too worried

If it gets turned on it can be hacked.

Well they do but it's a lot harder for them to do much damage since Linux users are smart and Linux has better security overall
1 like@Logan T Yes, your right, it was said like this because Linux has <1% marketshare and hence, the target will be Windows.
