I remember listening to this song when I was like 15 and it completely blew my mind. I was just a teenage musician and I didn't understand how a fandom could produce such high level music just for fun and passion for a show. I went on, majored in songwriting and audio engineering, started my own music career, grew up, learned, and now I came back as a full grown adult.
And this song is just as good as I remembered it. A flash of myself walking home from school while listening to this under a clear cerulean sky flashed, and I realized how much this fandom and its music meant to me as a teenager and how glad I am it was there. You're awesome, replacer. 10/10 would listen to again, forever.

For a moment I forgot that I was even listening to a pony inspired song on youtube. It has such an iridescent quality that kinda blends into the background as a well played, well liked song on the radio would seem. You just sit there and groove to it flowing on the catchy beat but when you listen closer you just keep gawking at how much more amazing it all is. Really great work!

The lyrical structure is amazing, the lyrics are well written and the overall poetic nature of the lyrics make it really amazing to READ. I find it pretty sad that the voice can't hit the tones correctly and it cracks more often than not. It's a really nice song and the music in itself is fantastic. I liked the video, because you have tons of potential. I would recommend doind some practise though.
This song has got it. I don't know what it is, but it's got it. And it's awesome. Sure, I don't play favorites, (It's not a contest people!) but I relate the most to Dashie. This song captures everthing about her picture-perfectly, her pros and her cons. Subperb job with the song man. Kudos.
Could be half as long to be honest, or alternatively more energetic variety later on (a little flat). Luckily the incredible pay-off at the end with the back and forth between the horns + strings and angelic tubular bells makes it worth it, brilliant decision.

The rhythm of the verse kinda sounds like Divide from Disturbed, which is one of my favourite songs, imo. I don't know why, but that's one of the first things that came to my mind while I was listening to this for the first time(but nothing else matches; as the song I mention is of Metal genre). The second one was, as you can clearly imagine: ''This song is just awesome!''

Well cerulean can apply to a range of blue shades, and I think the original meaning is just 'sky coloured'...but the line is really discussing RD's cutie mark colours, not her body colour... also tbh it was just a memorable phrase that fit well and I wanted to use it :P

They could see that she wasn't happy about Mare-do-Well constantly showing her up, yet they didn't try to confront her about it until she captured them first. RD's reaction would realistically have been closer to the "what he hell, hero?" trope than her getting over it as quickly as she did.

This is why I think Rainbow Dash is best pony. My personality is kind of a mix of all the ponies. I'm shy like fluttershy, nerdy like Twilight, I can't stand "high class" life like Applejack, I live for happiness in this world like Pinkie Pie, and like Rarity, I can sometimes be somewhat of a snob. But Rainbow Dash, with all her virtues and flaws, is everything I've ever wanted to be: fast, determined, bold, loyal, and sometimes brash and insensitive. Rainbow, may you forever Dash on. <3

0 likes@dominian42 She never took herself very seriously though I always felt; she always seemed to just be doing it for fun (except in that episode, which is why I felt it was so very wrong...) And I apologise for the tone of that post, I wasn't in a very good mood after that episode and it seemed like everyone hated RD because of something she wasn't normally... Thankfully, that all seems to have fixed itself now. It's a pretty good song really overall! It has a really nice sound.
