Man...I love your Vsauce videos and you seem like such an intelligent dude but can't help asking....what were you thinking posting these "comedy" videos? I got my glasses with prescription for near-sightedness for $40 online including tax and shipping. The optical appointment to get my prescription was $70... $110 total. If you can't get that to work for you, you are either homeless, or addicted to meth...
You're eye, and tongue glasses are classic examples of the basic economic principle of "trade-offs". Your ability to see clearly is worth more to you than the cost of corrective eye-wear. Conversely, tongue glasses may be worth less to you than the cost of having food not taste like farts.
I need glasses, but I can not afford them. It's not that I "don't get the value of sight" I just need food first. Not everyone has the money they need for essential things.
I got glasses but i don't really wear it because i don't want to end up to the point where i had to rely on it all the time. Is it a good ideal to wear it all the time or should i just wear it when i need it?
