OMG, this music vid is just amazing, everything was done ever so phenomenally the music, the effects and even Vylet's vocals are all so spectacular i love it all, awesome work guys and Happy New Year Sawtooth!!!!

I kinda feel bad for flurry heart, shes an alicorn and a princess from birth so she probably will feel pressured to do something to live up to everyones expectations

I can actually see Flurry Heart’s Story to be kinda like Twilight’s not being sure about what Princess she is but then finding it out

The only thing that's criminal about this song is that it is so gosh darn short...I suppose it's still longer that the tease in the intro/outro parts.

I still love it though.

I’ve always theorized that flurry’s thing she was going to do as a princess is learn to control the snow that there doesn’t need to be a bubble protecting the crystal empire, she’d be the one to teach the crystal ponies to embrace the snow, beautiful music btw!!

Great start to the new year! 🎉

What a great music to start this year.

It's pretty good. I knew it would be the instant I saw Daspace and Vylet were working on it. The only real issue is it's really short. But something I picked up is pretty interesting. "I don't know why, I don't know how, but I will find a way somehow" is high-pitched. It sounds young. Maybe like a young child learning how to speak? Hmm? Pretty clever, if you ask me. There was also how Flurry's color scheme is the same as Starlight's in Brand New Pair Of Wings.

All in all, it's pretty good, but I expected it to have a bit more feeling projected into it, like Brand New Pair Of Wings did. There was also a certain punch packed into the bits of You'll Play Your Part that showed up. Maybe I'm clinging to the odd expectations I had, and all the emotion necessary was packed into that. It's still great, definitely, and I'm likely just clinging to the nostalgia of Brand New Pair Of Wings, but I can't help but feel that something's just... Missing.

Here's what I think was missing.

Conflict. Bear with me here. Think back to Brand New Pair Of Wings. What was Starlight singing about? Her confusion regarding being a princess. "I wonder, what is next for me?" "I am just a unicorn with a brand new pair of wings." "I don't know why, but I will fly." "I wonder, what it is she sees that makes me worthy of these wings?" What happened at the end of the song and in the remix? Conclusion. Acceptance. "You are not alone." "I don't know why, I don't know how, but I will find a way somehow."

Flurry feels like a copy-pasted image with some extra cropping. What is it she's confused about, exactly? Is she experiencing the same conflict Twilight did and is wondering what her purpose is, or is she wondering what she possibly has done, could do, and will do to deserve her title, like Starlight? Is she confused about something different? What's her conflict? I get we don't have enough information to inference a conflict, but surely there are certain thoughts and questions she's having. Remember, she grew up as an alicorn, she likely knew that they all have an important purpose. In this video, she's an adult and likely hasn't found her "purpose" yet. But this wouldn't be Twilight's mindset of "what is my purpose" since Flurry's been an alicorn her whole life. It likely wouldn't even be the question of what her purpose is, but instead, be the question of if she HAS a purpose. This may give her a conflict to face.


Twilight's conflict: "What is my purpose?"
Twilight's resolution: "My purpose is to uphold harmony in Equestria."
Starlight's conflict: "Why do I deserve this?"
Starlight's resolution: "I'm not alone. I don't know why, I don't know how, but I will find a way somehow."
Flurry's conflict: "Do I HAVE a purpose?"
Flurry's resolution: Unknown.

We know some vague details about Flurry's resolution, as she did something involving the Crystal Heart and ended up ruling alongside her mother as the Princess of Light. But what led to her actions with the Crystal Heart? What exactly did she DO? What was her definitive answer? I was hoping this would get answered in this song. Maybe someday.

Nothing says "merch aimed towards young girls" like hearts, unicorns, princesses, and bright arse pink
This video really nailed what Flurry Heart's part of the franchise is.

To me for my heart's always been the Adorable Ray of Hope and I'm proud of her for earning her cutie mark in the future! Though I find it odd why Brony fans demonize her at the beginning? They're probably scared of her powerful potential like the others in the show ,but unlike me I would actually babysit and train her to mold her power and master her crystal/earth pony powers to succeed where the other pass Alicorns have failed.

I just watched your videos on who you thought bailed Nightmare Moon out of the moon and just finished the one where you thought Celestia did it, and you said that the show hasn't really said who controls the stars, then I realized maybe Star Swirl the Bearded did it. It depends on when Luna was banished and when Star Swirl sacrificed himself. If Luna was banished before Star Swirl was trapped in Limbo, then the theory could work. It would make sense, Star Swirl would want the sisters to be together again. But then why wait 1000 years. Maybe Star Swirl knew that there might be someone that could help Celestia transform her back. I also think that Start Swirl wrote the book that Twilight read at the beginning of the show. This is just a theory but I think it could work.

Hi I have a thing to say about alicorns as you know all the princesses earned their wings except for flurry hearts but what is season 2 2 when Twilight remembers cadence when she was a kid we see that cadence is an alicorn
So maybe cadence was boring as an alicorn to just because she didn't tell anything doesn't mean she isn't so I guess that would make sense for flurry Hearts to and one question how did cadence become an alicorn in the first place? We know that Celestia give Twilight wings but then who did give cadence wings if there is no other alicorns in the Pony history then cadence must be born an alicorn
