maybe ill put up an advanced and corrected version with no-rotate and the correct date instead.

It's possible, but not easy.
As for whether it's safe to put up... I don't think anyone else has a working coordinate exploit, but that may not be true forever.
I haven't shared the code yet, but someone else might write one.

I wouldn't blow it up, it's a nice base. If I showed up it would just be for a tour/world download.

Well, I'll just say I don't take an absolute stance on griefing, so key word is "probably". I'm not opposed to griefing for any ideological reason or something, but blowing up large active bases just isn't my thing unless they're just getting started or insignificant. Or if I really didn't like someone I'd probably blow their base up. Like I said before though, abandoned stuff and stashes are fair game. Stashes need to be blown up to balance the server.

Griefing in general? Not really. But my love for TNT started long before I joined 2b2t. I probably wouldn't blow up a large active base in this fashion, but abandoned bases and dupe stashes are fair game in my opinion.

No texture pack, it's just vanilla.

I haven't done any base tours yet mainly because I haven't done any voice overs, so they would be kind of boring with just music. I might do them in the future though. I'm more likely to do brief walkthroughs (like with toro's theater) and maybe do some cinematics with some world downloads.

I stopped by the new one (Crystal City) too since it was nearby, but it was already griefed.

you'll want to use 0.25 for the full cinematic effect: a majority of the footage is speed up 310%, so 0.25 gets you closer to 100% speed

Without reason? That's not quite true, there are reasons, but even if there weren't it's just a part of everyday gameplay on this server. In the absence of natural decay, griefing inevitably deteriorates builds over time. If my bases get found, I fully expect them to be griefed and I wouldn't be mad at the people that do it. Even when I first joined I never even questioned the griefing culture on this server because if it bothered me I wouldn't play here. The point of this server is to push the game and its players to their limits, the game is too easy otherwise. I'm not a career greifer or PvPer, I do build stuff too, but regardless, everyone has their reasons for what they do and it is what it is.

This is kind of a vague answer to your question though, so to answer it more directly, I grief stuff in the hopes that it will get the people who really don't belong here to leave. If they do belong here, they'll move on and build elsewhere, otherwise they'll just get upset and leave. Better sooner than later. It may be cruel depending on your viewpoint, but people shouldn't play here if they're just going to suffer. It's just virtual legos, but some people get pretty worked up over it.

Last time I settled down and built a dirt hut I realized how boring laggy single player with chat can be :)
Being a builder and being a griefer are not mutually exclusive. But honestly, I don't grief very often, this was just a good opportunity (being abandoned and all) after having walked a long way to get there with a full box of TNT.
