It was....a test? Well.....I guess that makes sense, I mean getting the flower from the Guardian wasn't simply cake walk. A Guardian is not exactly any ordinary creature and should NEVER be underestimated, also if I was one myself and see my children killed I too would be consumed by anger, so that makes total sense.
At the beginning I could picture the wolf girl in trouble and I was in full Tactical gear ( Tactical vest, m4, colt 45, light machine gun, frag grenades, flashbangs,and a bootknife)

Depending on how the time manipulation work, we could destroy the planet. If we froze time, then moved say, a metal ingot forward. If it kept it's momentum, moving when time stopped means it would have reached light speed or even higher. Then releasing time would send that ingot right into the planet destroying all life. But this is the reason I am never given super powers. I keep finding ways to destroy the planet.
Honestly I probably would have taken out a knife before this. And then I would have to calmy explain she either let her go or we see if I can't get a lucky hit in
