Glad I watched the original video while it was still up. These companies will learn when everyone leaves them, that it's not cool to censor legal content. Especially not when they exploit methods that are misleading (a "copyright claim" on a video showing their product, for example).

Bummer. Your videos are what convinced me to finally go out and get one of these. I think their use of copyright takedowns are going to hurt themselves too.

I will never buy another Nintendo product again. Most people probably won't feel quite as strongly. For me, what Nintendo has done is morally wrong and unfair. I no longer wish to support a company financially that takes such a position.

If you are bored consider hacking the Leapster 2, it's a cartridge based system that has a Sonic game, but what makes it interesting is that it has a SD card port.

"Each ROM type is different in where they're mapped in memory.

SD card starts at 3C800000, BIOS starts at 40000000, Cartridge starts at 80000000
(Think of where the GBA maps cartridge memory in this case. Cartridge is mapped to 08000000)

I do think it's possible to convert cartridge games to SD card games though would likely need some edits to the assembly though.(Everything before the "LEAP" text is ignored, so that doesn't alter how the games boot.

System starts going through the header after "LEAP" and there's pointers to everything before it with IDs determining what each referenced thing is. If you run a non-SD card ROM in SDMenu, it'll just reboot the system.)"

I would go with the gameboy game&watch series on it. Donkey Kong jr. and Octopus. I wonder if it could handle the Gameboy Color Hack for Super Mario Land DX. Even the Gameboy Color Super Mario Deluxe would be an improvement in my opinion except it's ratio is a bit different.

Nintendo hates 3ds hackers because some of them hacked their systems to pirate games (not me), yet most people do it just because of the cool stuff it can allow your system to do, such as play rom hacks. I make mods for Mario kart 7, and that’s fun and not illegal. I wish Nintendo would realize that there’s a difference between piracy and rom hacking.

To say that Nintendo has its own agenda other than success/survival is pretty much a wish in one hand and poop in the other, see which one fills up first scenario. They as well as any other company, see a community based around them as a threat to their manipulative schemes. They don't want to have to act according to the publics wishes, they want to operate like other companies who distance themselves from the public opinion and basically force us into buying their product out of necessity, because it's the only way you'll get to play a Mario or Zelda game. That being said, it's no different than 30 years ago when I was first introduced to the NES. Aside from that Mario is now short and fat, and Link is now easily mistakable for a chick... I would not like to be introduced to this era of nintendo as it is. Really when I show my kids anything Nintendo, I have to filter out everything past gamecube just to purify the idea that they once had a system worth checking out.
