Legend of the Guardians actually made me appreciate owls. They seem less creepy to me nowadays. I really like this movie though, one of my favorites from Warner Bros, next to Happy Feet.
It was obvious that they were meant to be more developed in a sequel but because the movie never did make enough money for that. Sad that this never did take off.
I enjoyed it for what it was. Watching the scene at the Ga'Hoole Tree was very charming, and I liked the scenes where they were on their journey. The stuff at the tree at the start and some of the "Follow your gizzard!" dialogue was kinda cringy though. Very different trajectory for an animation compared to where animation went down in general.
This was one of my favorite movies as a kid that I was obsessed with, and wanted to watch it every time it came on TV just because of the animation, (especially the water and fire scenes) and the fight scenes were like no other that Iโve ever seen when I was a kid.
Shows that you should probably get into or check out is either Stranger Things or Umbrella Academy.
Oh. My GOODNESS. THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITES!! For a movie that came out during those early cgi years this is super polished and quite flashy in detail - I heard the actual books are a lot darker in plot, either way it intrigued me hehe
finally someone reacts to this epic movie though it makes a mockery of the books they take the first 3 books cram them in one movie and leave out some of the best things on the story
I've never seen anyone ever suggest this show but I'm hoping he saw this and takes the suggestion! It's such a good show, one of my favorites I watched when I was younger. Even though it made me paranoid and have nightmares, it's a 10/10 lol.
Hey can you please react to the terrible percy jackson movies if you haven't seen them yet (and I say terrible because of how they are bad representation of the books other than that they are good) and then the more book accurate tv series when it comes out
I hate the movie. I have read all the books and not only are the books much better; the story is also diffrend. Bats (for exsample) are not in the originall book series and many other thing have been changed for the worse
Bats certainly were in the series, but for a different purpose. I have read all the books as well, but I still love this movie on its own and the direction it was taken. (Don't care for the romantic tension between Soren and Otulissa though.)

2 likesYes, this movie is based on the first three books of the Guardians of Ga'Hoole series (with a lot of changes made to the story).

It sucks that it didn't do well at the box office as there was so much potential to adapt all the books including Wolves Of The Beyond
0 likesI just watched this for the first time and it was amazing!
